Great sounding receiver with a few flaws.

Great sound and flexibility. Using this for my front wides, surrounds and front/rear heights. I have an Emotiva BasX 3 channel amp used for the front stage with this receiver used as a preamp. Sounds really clean and was a nice upgrade from my previous Denon AVR-x4200. My only gripe is the HDMI 2.1 issue it has currently with the Xbox series X and the adapter they are offering as a fix. It would be nice to actually receive it, but better yet, it would’ve been better to not continue to sell a receiver with a known chipset issue and wait to release them once updated. Denon customer service on this issue has been pretty insufficient to date.

First Apple TV and it is fine but not really worth all the hype. I actually prefer using my apps on my Sony 900h tv and previous Roku player. One thing I have had a problem with is the sound. It can go out when first starting a show or right after starting the next episode on Apple TV+. I have to exit out and start again to get the sound back. Kind of annoying and not sure if it’s a glitch or a compatibility issue with eArc on my Sony 900h tv and my my Denon AVR-x6700
