I bought this unit to use dolby atmos. Movies sound amazing on 4k/bluray and streamimg services that support atmos. All of the different sound options are well balanced and sound great. I would recommend this receiver paired with a good set a speakers for movie watchers.

This is the best TV I have ever owned. 4K and Blu ray movies look ridiculous on this TV. The true black creates a depth of color that you can't get on regular LED. Also great for watching sports and regular TV shows. I don't own playstation 5 or xbox x so it does not matter that it does not have hdmi 2.1. If you mostly watch movies and TV shows this TV is for you.
