This is great for a one person household. The deli and veggie/fruit compartment could have been minimized to allow for another shelf on the door. This has no handle, the option to open is the crevice near the lower portion of the unit or pulling the door from the top, of which one is too high or the other too low for some people. It has one adjustable shelf but the door shelves are not adjustable. If you feel you can live with these little quirks, then it's probably a good choice.

Just so you know, Best Buy will not deliver GE Spacemaker Washer/Dryer units. Reason I was told by the salesman was the delivery guys damage them. That is the lamest thing I've heard of!! Like a refrigerator or a full size washer or full size dryer doesn't get bumped or banged?

Don't get talked into buying these.

This is more a review of the salesman's lack of education. He talked me into buying these washing machine fill hoses for $34.99. When my appliance was delivered and set up realized there were already new fill hoses inside the unit, guess the salesman didn't know. What he didn't tell me was that the power cord was not included and that was something I had to purchase myself.

Why have different settings on the washer when the tub never fills to accommodate the size of the load. Fix - keep the setting on "Bulky" to properly fill the tub. Dryer has the lint catcher in the door, dumb place to put it. So you have to remove the cover over the lint catcher, then remove the lint catcher, an additional step one could do without. There is no buzzer for signaling the end of cycle for either the washer or dryer so you have to stay close and check them frequently. No light inside the dryer. This feels like the cheapest unit GE makes, too bad they don't reflect that in the price!! Had I known, would have spent a few more bucks and bought something a little more elevated.
