I used to think this adapter is just an alternative to bluetooth on Windows, until I found out that it enables the audio jack on the controller. That is something I've wanted for a long time so I bought it immediately.
It works as expected and gives you the same gaming experience on console.
- Faster and easier pairing
- Audio output from controller
- Controller is off when PC is shut down
- Vibration is off when battery is low
- Audio output from controller
- Controller is off when PC is shut down
- Vibration is off when battery is low
Plus, it has much stabler connection than bluetooth, especially under low battery level.
The controller doesn't have auto off though, where it does via bluetooth (or it could be that I don't know where to enable that option). That can be a good and bad thing. Good for older games, like Skyrim and Dead Space 3, that freeze when controller is disconnected. Bad for battery life.
