It's a nice looking steelbook case, but I don't really see much purpose for it beyond that. I'm a big Shenmue fan, but it doesn't really enhance anything with the game, but since it was free I can't complain.

Good sound quality, but the cords tangle a lot.

The sound quality here is really good on both ends. I could hear very well, and when I'm using the microphone people tell me that the sound is very clear and good. My big issue is with the cords getting tangled so easily. I've only had this for a little over two months, and the tiny cord that leads from the headset to the volume control is already wrapping around itself.
The thick cord that connects from the volume control to the USB isn't so bad, but it's still getting a little caught up. I probably should have gotten something wireless, but at this price it's good enough to do.

This game was very hyped for many years, but it never really caught my eye much. It was so cheap that I played it to see what all the fuss was about, and the story plotting was good and had me interested in seeing what happens. Sure, there were definitely a lot of the cliches from this style of story, but how they get you from point A to point B helps make it more intriguing.
The gameplay issues were annoying, but not as bad as the Uncharted games. The game is set up for stealth, but sometimes they want you to get into Gears of War style firefights with lots of enemies when the gameplay isn't designed well enough for that because at times the movement is sluggish and the AI is really bad. Thankfully it wasn't off-putting enough to deter me from finishing. Although the ending was incredibly contrived I still had a lot of fun getting to know Ellie and Joel and play through their story.

Great climax with a so-so middle.

I loved the first movie so much that I couldn't wait to see this one. The beginning is solid, but the middle of the movie feels too on the nose for Denzel helping out a certain character. In a tv series it probably would have worked well because that part felt rushed, but the climax of this makes up for it and delivers in a big way.

Nostalgia and Tim Curry

If you've read the It book then obviously you know that this tv movie from the 90s doesn't do it full justice, but Tim Curry is greatness in the role of Pennywise enough to satisfy you. If you watched it as a kid like I did then there's enough nostalgic moments to make this worth buying during a sale.

If you have problems with the Nat Turner story then you're not going to like this one. That's a different debate on its own, but this movie does great justice to that famous rebellion. The acting is on point here, and the story puts you in a bit of a false place of security before reminding you of how horrid things were for slaves, and it really makes it sweeter when they get their revenge. This is why this one is easier to watch on repeat viewings than something like 12 Years a Slave. That movie was great too, but at least here there is some kind of comeuppance for the characters that you hate.
