I was getting pretty fatigued by every racing game being open world, but Unbound really justifies it's open world with it's cop mechanics. Each in-game week you are earning as much money as you can while avoiding increasingly aggressive cops so that you can be prepared for a big race at the end of the week. It creates a great sense of tension!
