I love my OLED. It is an amazing TV and the blacks are soooo good. It seems after the last update that the black crush is not an issue anymore... or I've just gotten used to it haha. If the motion handling was better than it would be a 5 star all day. I've heard the C9 has improved this. I'll have to buy one on black Friday and see.

I would give 5 stars but one of my disks was loose in the packing. Lots of complaints about the 5 discs crammed into 2 spots. Either way, great movies and mainly purchase for the digital copies.

I purchased this sound bar on Cyber Monday for $450 and I couldn't be happier! I really didn't want to spend the normal $700+ and the majority of negative reviews I've read are that it's too expensive for the quality... but getting such a good deal made it amazing! It had some odd quirks when I first set it up, like the bass almost nonexistent for the first couple days. I actually almost returned it but I found some reviews of people saying that it eventually gets louder and then stays that way. I was like... no way... that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard but it was true. After a couple days of usuage, now the bass is great for my room size and I couldn't be happier. Love it soo much and will for ling time. I have it hung up on wall under my 70 inch LG tv and it is a beautiful sight, even for sore eyes. I initially thought it stuck out a little too far off the wall but now I really like it and wouldn't have it any other.

My HDMI 1 went out within a week of owning of Black Friday. Poof! Out of no where it just stopped working. Before this point I was super satisfied with the TV. After turning off the LED dimming, which is sooo horrible. That is everyone's biggest complaint about this TV.

The pictures for this product show keyholes on the back to mount them. Bought them got them home and opened the box, no friggin keyholes. Returned.

They have wall mounts that use keyhole slots... so it does matter. Best buy should have accurate pictures of the items they're selling. I am not buying this product because of this review. Thankfully. I have rocket fish mounts that are compatible with keyhole slots. I thought these speakers would be an awesome addition but I have no need if they don't have anyway to be mounted.

I used to own last year's rear speaker and these 2018 models are decidedly better. Although they are of the same power wattage as before, they offer an improved design chassis that lends to more improved clarity. They are certainly heftier and feel more expensive. Aesthetically, they are more pleasing to the eye and they match LG's current 2018 line up of sound bar design language (save for the SK9) perfectly. The wireless receiver is identical to that of last year's.

The newer model is 20 watts more than last year. I have both and the previous model, SPJ4-S, states 120 watts. While the SPK8-S states 140 watts.

I purchased this item to use as a storage/backup device for a gaming system. I was hesitant to purchase this brand due to a recent Data loss on a 2Tb WD easystore. I thought I'd give it one more try. Needless to say, I was DEVASTATED to lose access to the drive. I'm sure I don't have to tell you I lost half my lifes data on that drive.. tax returns... irreplaceable Family photos and videos of loved ones who've past on..you name it. I'm sick to my stomach just talking about it. I tried to reach out to to WD.. they just refer you to names of data restoration companies on their website to reach out to. I've visited a few... The one with the most guarantee wanted $1000 per TB to possibly recover some, not all of the data. Then I did my own research online and found downloadable software that promised at least 75-90% of your data back for about $125. I could afford that. I was able to obtain I would say between 75-80% back. Something is better than nothing and definitely well worth the money I spent to regain conciousness, and my data back! But I will say this, my old WD drive started malfunctioning at 3/4 full. I purchased a 4tb WD drive at half full with the intent on transferring the data to the newer device and retire the old. Well.. at 3/4 full it started not being recognizable on the one and only laptop I've ever used it on. Then folders started showing up empty! Plus other little.. not normal.. nuances that were happening that I just dismissed without giving it too much thought. I should have stopped using it at 1/2 full and cut my my losses with the rest of the space to avoid data loss. I definitely learned from THIS mistake. Consider yourself warned...

Do the upward firing speakers work all the time? When watching TV (or streaming) does it simulate the Atmos ability?

I’m experiencing backlight bleeding with this tv, backlight bleed in the corners of the screen and “clouding”, irregular patches of light remaining visible when the screen is supposed to be black. Anyone else having this problem?
Turn off LED dimming in your settings and you may want to lower your backlighting to around 40. That should help alot. It helped my TV stop having the issue you are describing.
