Good print and value

Needed to replace our Canon PIXMA 922 as it suddenly stopped working. Tired of the constant replacement of expensive ink cartridges, we decided to look into the ecotank/megatank options. While we are very satisfied with the quality of the print and what I believe will be a significant reduction in our ink costs as well as reducing the waste from used cartridges, the network setup on this printer was ridiculously difficult even though I am fairly proficient with hardware and software. It took a couple hours just to get the printer connected to our network and recognized by all our devices. I don't see why this should be so difficult, and it was also surprising to see this printer does not support the 5G WiFi band, which is likely the reason my initial attempts to get devices to find the printer on the network were unsuccessful as they were connected to the 5G network on my router.
While I am happy with the printer now that it is setup, I do not think I would choose to buy another Canon in the future, unless there is some marked improvement in the network functions.

Digital Copies NOT INCLUDED

The movies, discs, transfer, features, etc. are all great. The 1-star is due to the lack of digital copies. Not only is it ridiculous for a set of movies this popular not to come with a digital copy in this day and age, but Best Buy clearly dropped the ball in how this product is displayed on their website.
When deciding to purchase this set, I quickly skimmed the features and didn't see mention of digital copies. Not always something listed, I decided to check the reviews and sure enough I saw several reviews which praised the digital copies (and interestingly enough, none of the negative reviews mentioning missing digital codes).
When I got the set home and opened it up only to find no digital copies, I checked the Best Buy reviews more closely by searching the reviews for the term "copy" and sure enough, many people were complaining about missing digital codes, and one even mentions no codes being present despite the box saying "+digital" on it.
The only explanation I can think of is when originally released the set did come with a digital copy. Then, when the distributor removed the digital copies and released the current box set which is only 4K + Blu Ray, Best Buy didn't create a whole new product page and sku number but instead just changed the thumbnail on the product. As I've opened the discs, I cannot return them for a refund, so now if I want the digital copies I have to pay more money, when I probably would have just bought the digital copies alone if I knew I had to choose.

Great functionality, poor user interface

The router itself performs excellently, great speeds and very reliable. Setup wasn't too difficult. The real area it is lacking is in the mobile app which you can use to access router functions. Just signing into this app at first was very difficult, as there were software issues which would not recognize the login credentials and then lock me out. Now that the app is working correctly, I have found it more useful, but there are still occasionally issues. I would still purchase again, but hope that Netgear stays on top of the software and makes improvements.

Looks good, behaves badly

For the price, this TV can't be beat. Picture and sound quality are good. There are, however, two items which frustrate me about this TV: memory and software.
Memory: The internal memory is insufficient for the number of streaming apps we use, and I don't think we even use that many. I've had to delete some apps just to make room for updates. I did connect a USB drive to expand the memory and move those apps which allow it to the external memory. However, many apps such as Twitch do not function properly on external memory and so I had to move them back. Considering how cheap memory has become, I think it is a bit ridiculous for any media device to have less than 32GB for internal memory (heck, Best Buy sells 32GB flash drives for around $10) and this TV only comes with about 4GB.
Software: We are definitely an Amazon house through and through, with a FireTV Cube in the living room and this TV in the bedroom. We've invested heavily in the Alexa system, and they're lucky we have because at times it is so frustrating that we would likely switch to Google or another provider if the cost wasn't so prohibitive. For this TV, one my major complaints is that the live channels tiles do not update very well. I'll often turn the TV on or stop using a streaming app and scroll through the live channels, get excited to watch a particular movie/show displayed, only to find out after clicking on it that something else entirely is playing. It should also be a lot easier to access the titles you've purchased and better filtering options for finding items which are free, free with ads, and require rent/purchase.

Upgraded to this model after having owned the Pro 4 for a number of years. With Zoom classes and multiple media programs running, the Pro 4 just wasn't able to keep up and was often freezing momentarily or having to be rebooted. I had also almost filled the 128GB of memory the Pro 4 had.
Thus far I'm very happy with this upgrade, the processor is definitely beefier and the 256GB memory should be more than sufficient for years to come, especially since I plan on using an external drive for my home media solutions. I do think the type cover should come with, and I had to wait quite a while to get one with fingerprint reader from Microsoft.
The major frustration came in moving my data from my Pro 4 to this one. It seems ridiculous that there is no wired or wireless option to simply copy files and preferences from one machine to the other. Cellphones have this functionality available and they typically have much less data and preferences to move.
I certainly wasn't going to pay Geek Squad or another service to move the data for me, so I just backed up to an external drive and copied the data over. But that does nothing about my preferences. About the only thing I didn't have to setup was my wallpaper, which indicates Microsoft knows this is a feature people would want but they're uninterested in providing it.

Ink good, technology bad

The ink does its job and the price isn't outrageous for inkjet. However, I wish they would find a way to reduce the amount of wasted ink. We hardly ever print and almost never print in color yet we have to replace all the cartridges every 8-12 months.
From Canon: "The PIXMA MX922 will use color ink tanks to print colored text. Even if the grayscale option is checked in the printer driver, if the original text is in a color other than black, the PIXMA MX922 will combine the cyan, magenta and yellow ink tanks together to make a composite black. This is why your color ink cartridges are still being used."
I find it suspect in this day and age that a printer cannot be told to stop using color ink when you ask for black and white or grayscale. Honestly, it feels like this is intentional just to make sure we buy ink often.

Overpressurized

I love using SodaStream and this was our first time exchanging an empty cylinder for a full one. Unfortunately, this cylinder we received at Best Buy was overpressurized, which causes the machine to not be able to properly open and close the valve and instead just spews a nonstop stream of CO2 into the water, causing it to overflow the bottle. The only way to stop this is to unscrew the canister from the machine while it is still spraying. This can be dangerous because the cylinder can get incredibly cold while discharging. I'm hoping this is a one-off and to SodaStream's credit they quickly mailed me a free replacement cylinder and label to return this bad one.
