Before you watch this movie, make sure that you are familiar with the Beatles, Coke, Cigarettes, Harry Potter, Oasis, and Ed Sheeran or you might feel like one of the characters in this movie wondering who or what everyone is talking about. After I watched this, I looked all these things up and realized that there used to be a band called the Beatles in the 1940's and that I may have missed the point of the movie.

Not satisfied with having painted Ron Perlman red once, Guillermo Del Toro breaks out his paint brush and does it again, this time in 4K! If you turn up the volume to the 75+ range, you can hear Guillermo's sick and twisted giggling as he takes perverse pleasure at watching Ron Perlman strut around half-baked, painted red, with two horn stumps, and a hand encased in a cinder block. This man must be stopped or he might make a movie where he giggles off screen as a woman falls in love with a naked creature from the black lagoon.

The transfer is excellent & the set includes a bunch of goodies like an informative booklet & postcards so you can let your friends & family know you are a supporter of robotic law enforcement. This movie will make you wish every cop was a RoboCop, even if that means they wouldn't be able to turn off their body cam whenever it suits them like non-RoboCops.

Disney fans, remember to also add The Lobster, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Dogtooth, and Alps to your "Don't Watch List".

I can't recommend the Witch enough. It's a atmospheric indie horror film distributed by A24, a studio known for their discerning taste and quality films. Don't go in with any expectations because this movie will subvert them all. Try it out. And hey, even if you don't like it, at least you'll have some creative ways to accuse someone of being a witch the next time they rub you the wrong way.
