Best Buy didn’t produce enough to be able to stock store shelves with the steelbooks for one of the most acclaimed flicks out there. Not sure what the thinking was there but if they produce only a limited amount and then decide to send leftovers to the store then that should be made clear. Ive had pre-order issues with Best Buy almost every time I pre-order soII don’t. And now I’m punished for that…C’mon, Best Buy.

Most Cinematic Experience of All-Time

Few films stand up to T2 in terms of providing an all around cinematic experience. There's drama, tension and fantastic action. The set pieces have all held up fantastically over the years. The 4K transfer certainly updates the visual quality enough to warrant adding this to your collection if you haven't.

Is this the very best on the market? No. But for the price, it has great range and after a month I've yet to experience a drop in signal/service.
Bit of advice: Plug into a surge protector. After a storm, the initial purchased router would power on but it wouldn't send out a signal. Got it replaced and the replacement works swimmingly.

The 4k transfer is excellent. There are some special features worth viewing, but still just a little bit to be desired on that front. Overall, I'd say grab the 4K release if you have the appropriate hardware.

Disney Does Features Right

Feel however you will about the movie. Of course, you wouldn't buy it if you weren't a fan. With that out of the way, Disney always does well by the fans by including an array of features. The exclusive Steelbook also fits nicely into my collection despite no 3D special edition as with The Force Awakens.

Probably Returning Image Quality Not What Expected

Firstly I upgraded from an old 720p Vizio. The first thing I noticed upon playing my Xbox was that there was a noticeable blur around any objects moving. Like when you look at a hot surface under the sun and it looks wavy. I messed with a bunch of settings and ultimately also decided the native sharpness didn’t do the visuals any favors so I turned it down. This blur persisted. I fiddled with the motion settings to no avail. Some words also were blurry. Ultimately it looked better on my old Vizio.
So I figured perhaps this was an issue of the visuals scaling up from 1080 on the Xbox. So I went to watch Planet Earth in 4K on Netflix and while images looked great up close there was still a blur around objects which worsened when in motion. Nothing on the internet seems to be able to explain this issue.
Sadly I think I may be returning the TV tomorrow which sucks because I was very excited about finally getting a new tv and at what seemed like a great price.
