First off, this toothbrush is the loudest I have ever owned. It works good, not sure if the different modes really make any difference. Mainly got this for the his and hers setup. It was also on sale, would not have bought otherwise. The UV light is a neat feature but ours looks like it might go out soon. If you want a neat his and hers toothbrush setup this one works! Don't expect anything mind blowing from the brush itself.
