Great features & inexpensive - but feels that way

Lightweight, portable, and boots in a flash, its a great low-cost option for a student not looking for high-end graphics, or a portable unit for purposes where gaming is a true need. On the flip side, the weight and plastic nature of it feel elementary -- I question how long the keyboard will hold up without strong reflex. But for the average student or low-need user, it fits the bill!

Excellent picture/price, subpar sound/remote

For the size, the price cannot be beat, especially with Roku's simple yet effective interface built right in. Sadly, the remote provided is Roku bare-bones, and pairing with even very intelligent remotes (i.e. Xfinity X1) yields very limited control. And as one would expect at this price point, sound is tinny and lacks any bass. However, for a bedroom or garage TV where sound quality isn't the focus, you can't beat the price for the size and capability!

For those die hards looking to ensure completeness in your collection, this nicely packaged compilation covers MOST of the individual releases that never made it to a full Rhino/Shout Set. However, there are still almost 1/2 dozen singles excluded from this and the "Lost & Found" collection that you'll still have to acquire individually. Outside of those exclusions, this is a collection completer for those looking to save shelf space and consolidate. An extra bonus, some tack-on features. Highly recommended for those looking to complete their MST3K collections...

Excellent package for mediocre film

The technical specs, packaging, and presentation are all top notch (woul dyou expect less from Disney for the Star Wars cannon?!), but as most all are aware of the saga of making this film, it wavers between excitement and hot mess throughout. You can tell Lord/Miller were shooting for an action-comedy, heavy on the comedy -- and Disney "stole" it back, brought in Howard to level it out a bit, and it feels cobbled, forced, and contrived in its need to tie up loose ends and explain much more than what it has/needs to. That's not to say there aren't some wonderfully fun sequences, and the supporting cast (led by swanky, smarmy Glover) is game.

Fun and Funny Flick for the Whole Family

Almost forgotten in its theatrical release (maybe due to marketing not sure how to handle the material), this is a wonderful film with a deft mixture of homage/respect, mockery, and a class-act cast that appears to be having a blast. Most of the effects are very well done, and the overall premise is very unique. It has much to offer all generations, serving as a great family film for anyone enjoying some sci-fi/fantasy and comedy, but not all of either throughout. Blu-Ray package has some nice extras, but the transfer is well done and sound enveloping is impressive -- a very active movie and soundtrack. Highly recommended.

Another enjoyable Broken Lizard flick (for fans)

For those acclimated with Broken Lizard, "Beerfest" is another fine addition to their collection. Rife with enjoyable laziness, scantily-clad ladies, and beer as the center focus, it's an enjoyable waste of time. Blu-Ray itself doesn't add much to the presentation -- mildly crisper -- and the extras are fine. For those with DVD, probably not worth the upgrade -- the low-fi probably helps the material ("slacker-esque").
