Only real JLU and DCAU fans will appreciate this movie. This will bring you a lot of nostalgia it even has the old music score from the JLU. This movie felt more like a JLU episode than an actual movie . The only thing i wanted more in this movie was the original 7 members of the JLU sure batman wonder woman and superman were great but it needed john stewart GL , martian manhunter, the flash , hawkgirl. Thank you bruce timm for making this for the JLU fans and i hope there will be another one like this . Maybe a contiuation of the epilogue episode with batman beyond terry mcginnis would be great too

I am a fan of both Batman and the Ninja Turtles, but my initial thoughts on this crossover was that it would take a lot to make it work, because of how tonally different the TV adaptations of these comic book characters are from one another.
But it actually works out pretty well. Sure, we get to see how the turtles' personalities mix with Batman and co., and the jokey nature can be a little forced at times, but I was satisfied with the outcome and the surprisingly high entertainment value. Leo and Bats work out well together and Ralph and Robin as well.
It also delivers a lot of awesome fight scenes between a wide range of Batman villains, because aside from the Shredder and his Foot Clan including Baxter Stockman there are no Turtles' villains. And to be honest, while Shredder is awesome, he is under used in the movie not doing very much.
The voice cast was good. Troy Baker does a very convincing Mark Hamil impression on the Joker and a take on Bats that's more his own. Those two really stood out. Not that the others didn't do well, it's just not as intimidating as earlier portrayals. The Turtles themselves delivered what you'd expect, so no comment there.
The overall look of the film can be summed up like this: if the characters are mostly from the Batman catalog, the look of the film is more like the turtles' comics and it works out okay. Some of the character design were a little weird like Donnie, Joker and Mr. Freeze, but aside from those it's well done with pretty backgrounds and more colors used than the usual dark color scheme from the Batman movies.
To sum up, this seemingly weird crossover offers a lot of good fight scenes and a good mix of the two comic book universes in an enjoyable superhero cartoon.

We see Batman go through a lot of trials in this movie. He takes on his gallery, he explores love, and his code is tested. The movie is great in the visuals, the writing, the music, the voice acting, and so much more. There are changes made to make it fit in the current universe and it works well. A good balance of humor and drama in between all the action. Some will complain about the changes and cuts, but the movie maintains the heart of the story when it comes to Batman and his challenges. A worthwhile watch for fans of Batman.

What would happen if you could teleport ANYWHERE in the world in the blink of an eye? Thats the question explored in Jumper, a film thats as fast and action packed as it is hollow and underdeveloped.
The films theme of individuals who can vanish and reappear anywhere they choose is a great idea but its execution is a little weak in Jumper. Why? The blame rest squarely on the films instance on being the start of a series. Instead of taking time to develop anything in the movie, Jumper just whizzes by at an incredible speed, setting up characters, ideas and plot points without expanding or resolving or developing them. The whole thing is made to kick start a franchise of films where the story would be explained in more detail, but come on man, when you pay to see a film, you expect to see a clearly defined beginning, a middle and a satisfying end- something that Jumper isn't too concerned with.
It was 1969, and the lull at a once trendy hotel on the California/Nevada border ended with a rush of clientele including an aging priest (Jeff Bridges), a vacuum salesman (Jon Hamm), a drifter (Dakota Johnson), and a soul singer (Cynthia Erivo). However, agendas and identities aren't all what they seem... and between a hunt for hidden bank loot and cultists arriving at the door, no one should expect a good night's rest. Stylish contemporary noir co-stars Chris Hemsworth, Lewis Pullman, Cailee Spaeny.

First off let me say, Bat Times at the El Royale is most certainly not for everyone. The way the story unfolds and how information is withheld/presented is quite complex. Although this may make it a bit too convoluted for some, it makes it an absolute treat for anyone willing to dig beneath the surface and get analytical. Not unlike Cabin in the Woods (Drew Goddard's directorial debut), Bad Times plays with your expectations. Goddard takes painstaking care to build tension throughout a scene, only to have it all upended by a sudden twist. For that reason, I anticipate the reaction to this film will be divided, as many moviegoers simply don't like surprises or being unsure of what will happen. However, if you are a fan of Goddard's previous work, it's a safe bet that you'll like this one. I also need to talk about the cast, as they deliver an absolute treasure of an ensemble performance. Each person plays their part incredibly well, but Cynthia Erivo and Chris Hemsworth are the definite stand outs. Hemsworth especially shines, showing us that he can do more than play a quippy Norse god. This movie has so much to unpack both visually and in terms of foreshadowing that I cannot wait to see it again. If you're looking for a smart, stylish, and generally thrilling way to spend a few hours, look no further than Bad Times at the El Royale.

Thrilling film with some of the most interesting and contrasting characters I've seen on the big screen for a long time. The film editing and camera work should also be noted. Many of the film's main scenes are constructed around the soundtrack; the sound design is used as a way of not only dramatizing a scene and describing the characters, but also directing the pace and style of the picture editing. A truly cinematic experience.

I say there's nothing more alarming than a knock at your door at three in the morning, and you open it, and there's a clown standing there. Stephen King knows this, and he lives to prey on our deep-seated fears.
And what does SK have against Derry, anyway? He's written so much horror in Derry, never mind that it's a fictional town, his personal sandbox of grotesqueries. I read IT years and years ago when I was a kid, and it terrified me the same way THE EXORCIST terrified me. IT is my favorite SK read, and not just because it was my first ever SK novel. It is genuinely haunting and moving and gives you that feeling of worms squirming in your belly. I relished the heck out of the 1990 ABC teleplay; At the time, I thought Tim Curry as the over-the-top Pennywise was the best thing ever.
But the 2017 version is better. Sure, because more years had gone by, they had to move up the time frame. Instead of the young Losers Club story arc set in 1957-1958, it's now set in 1988-1989. So, less Norman Rockwell, more, I dunno, Bob Ross? Doesn't matter. The screen remains redolent of old timey nostalgia and pulp fiction, of walkmans and poofy hair and leg warmers and sequels to A Nightmare on Elm Street.
I do think seven kids may have been too many. I think Stanley got short-shrifted some. There are actually folks out there who believe that the Losers Club apes the gang from STRANGER THINGS when, really, it's the other way around. Now, if you'd mentioned THE GOONIES or STAND BY ME (which adapted SK's novella THE BODY), maybe you've a leg to stand on since those came before IT.
Luckily, Finn Wolfhard, who is a leading character in STRANGER THINGS, plays a different role in IT. Beep, beep, Richie. Gratifyingly, these characters are drawn sharply enough that they don't feel clichéd.

I'd say this is better than the 1st season of Jessica Jones but not as good as Daredevil. I really liked how the show is reminiscent of old Blacksploitation films. The soundtrack is awesome and fits the show to a T. There are a lot of "live" performances in the club with some old school funk/soul and jazz bands.

The director has an easy job. The facts of the case are imminently interesting and of course provocative. Unfortunately black on white crime has always been big news. And of course courtroom drama gets the attention of the viewer. Additionally the acting is first rate, particularly that of Chadwick Boseman and Josh Gad. The performers with smaller roles are just as good. I particularly liked the actress (whose name I didn’t get) who played the jury forewoman with her lilting Southern accent. Furthermore, there are a couple of surprises in the plot. You of course are constantly reminded, as you are engrossed in the film, that the facts of this case are real. The film also gets the clothing, autos, housing, etc., right for the period of the early 1940’s. There are also interesting asides from the criminal trial: Mr. Marshall's time with his wife as well as the time he has to spend away from her, and a fascinating scene where he is in a club with the poet Langston Hughes when the writer Zora Neale Hurston pops in on them. (Marshall thought Hughes was wasting his life writing poetry.

This product is well worth the $30 you pay for it. I think a lot of the reviews dismissing it's small size are people who don't pay attention to the information on the product itself. This was advertised with correct specifications and it made no assumptions on size. It is advertised as a media storage cabinet (not books but CDs, DVDs, and Blu-Rays). If you're buying this for books, then I don't recommend doing that. It's 3ft tall, but if you read the information on the product, you will see that it is this tall. If you buy it without taking 5 minutes to research the reviews or the product information, then you don't deserve to give this a bad review. Alas, people don't always shop smart, hence the sizable bad reviews for this. I will review this as honestly as I can:
Hi. I see that "Jurassic World" comes in two 4k versions which look exactly alike. What are the differences between these two versions?
