I first got a Sony TV and returned it because I was not happy with the glare I got in my TV room with lots of windows but with the Q8 the glare was very minimal . I also use the TV in movie picture mode with a few calibration changes and that seems to look best to me. I am very happy with this TV...

Very happy ! with this TV for our bright room with many windows the only thing I wish it would have came with is a remote that lights up like the master series TV that we have also .Set up Google TV was very easy and the connection to my Marantz receiver was very smooth using eARC for the Google TV apps .

I did purchase the newer remote on line for one of the newer Sony TV's and I works perfectly and I also can use the google search to find my remote that will send a signal sound for the the remote to be found .
