I'm a long time Otterbox user and I've seen the progression from the bulky, tank-like cases to what is offered now. This is by FAR the best of the Defender series that protects one of the largest phones on the market. But the case isn't the same as it was. It's sleek and streamlined, but still providing the same protection.
If you want to protect your $1000 investment in an iPhone 12 Pro Max, then get this case. If you want to file an insurance claim and replace your iPhone when it breaks, then get a different, useless case.
Can't go wrong with this case!

Works great in my college son's laptop. He was running out of space and we added this second drive in his laptop specifically for storage. Now he has lots of room.
Kudos to Geek Squad for installing it for us since the mounting screw in the Asus laptop was sealed with Loc-Tite under the motherboard. They did a great job of removing the screw and not stripping it out.

Good laptop, cool keyboard, bad documentation

Good laptop for gaming and pretty much everything else you need it to do out of the box; except....
Upon attempting to install an additional Samsung 970 EVO m.2 drive, the screw was so tight, Best Buy had to help get it off (and had to provide a new screw). The installed drive (non-bootable) did not get recognized. Best Buy technician found that Optane memory is being used and assumed that it was rendering the drive port unusable.
Asus support was very responsive and polite. They informed me that the port was probably not working and the reason for the drive not being read because they 'confirmed' the Samsung drive met the specifications of the port. I proceeded to escalate my ticket to an Asus manager which led to my question to the engineers: "How can Optane memory be turned off so that the port can be used?" I will say they promptly got back to me within days. I learned that the Optane memory being used was the technology but not hardware driven so the port is active and should work. I then learned that I needed a Western Digital PC SN530 NVMe SSD BUT that is only for OEM and a consumer cannot buy it. SO...... I had to investigate further to learn that the WD Blue SN550 NVMe™ SSD is the parallel version. The WD Blue SN550 finally did work after losing several days off my life that I will never get back.
All this would not have been an issue if these specifications were publicly available and Best Buy customized configurations were documented.

Broke my fireplace mantle!

Mantle has to be replaced and wall painted. This means the TV has to come down and get remounted after the wall is repaired from where the mantle has to be removed.
BB GeekSquad: Next time be sure your installers meet the qualifications for being able to lift a 75" TV over their head and not use a household fixture as leverage.

It's just a TV mounting. It's either right or wrong. And in this case, it's wrong.
Thanks to the GeekSquad, my fireplace mantle was damaged in the process and needs to be replaced. It just can't be sanded down because we would lose the 90 degree angle on the edge of the mantle. Plus, when the mantle is replaced the repair job will involve the space immediately around the damaged area which will include where the TV is located, so the TV has to come down for 3 days and then be mounted again. The wall has to be repaired and painted.

Great picture, some minor annoyances

After waiting 10 years for the "BIG" TV, I finally did it!
The Q80T was on the short list and checked all the boxes for what I wanted in a long term investment.

Picture - The picture is fantastic! I like the reduced judder look, and everything watched has that soap opera effect.
Size - It fits nicely above the fire place. I could've gone up to 89", but that would've occupied ALL the space.
Features - I ditched cable & satellite long ago. The Samsung App store has what I need (with some exceptions).
BUT....
The annoyances are: Consistent WIFI connectivity and audio sync with Hulu on Samsung TVs.
Size - It fits nicely above the fire place. I could've gone up to 89", but that would've occupied ALL the space.
Features - I ditched cable & satellite long ago. The Samsung App store has what I need (with some exceptions).
BUT....
The annoyances are: Consistent WIFI connectivity and audio sync with Hulu on Samsung TVs.
WIFI - The wireless router is 17 feet away from the TV and in line-of-sight, so the distance from the TV and walls/obstacles are not an issue. The problem is with the Samsung itself. It's not a simple power on / power off and WiFi is restored. You have to press & hold the power button when powering the TV on, wait for the QLED logo, then wait about 5-9 seconds for your TV to authenticate back on your WiFi network again. It's just a small annoyance, but willing to live with it.
Audio Sync with Hulu - After a commercial on Hulu Live, the audio does not sync to the video but a fraction of a second. After doing some research, it's seems to be a joint issue between Hulu and Samsung; mainly Hulu. All other streaming services run just fine. It's only Hulu Live. And it's been going on for well over a year on ALL models of Samung regardless of how Hulu Live is delivered: direct app, Roku, FireTV, and so on.
As a result, I have switched to YouTube TV and do not have any more sync issues.
