Well, you definitely need this to complete the dryer install or you'll have hot air in your place. The diameter of the vent I had was a bit smaller then the outlet vent coming from the wall. We had to cut the vent a 3 places to widen it to cover the outlet vent.

The pedestal was a must addition. It raises the appliances up to a more workable level. The only thing is if your washer is upstairs and you have the water catch basin underneath, you will not be able to open the pedestal door under the washer. Small price to pay for the security of catching the water in case of an overflow.

Dry clothes with this Whirlpool gas dryer. Treat fabrics the right way with its eight drying cycles, or use the steam setting to refresh clothes and take out wrinkles without having to rewash them. This Whirlpool gas dryer also intermittently tumbles after the cycle is over to keep wrinkles from setting in your newly dried load.
