I purchased a 5 year warranty from Geek Squad on my $3000 TV it broke after one year. they replaced the TV and I had to purchase a nother warranty so I wasted 4 years worth of warranty. What I do now is I purchase a 2 year warranty on my televisions and I renew it every 2 years that way I'm not wasting any warranty. Because your warranty does not carry over if your TV was to break you have to purchase a new one
