Solid action thriller

This one grew on me. It takes the action thriller formula of a Bourne film and injects into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Wasn’t a fan of this initially but I’ve grown to appreciate it. Civil War is better overall, but this one has its place as one of the best sequels in the MCU.

Imperfect but still amazing

Everyone has already seen this by now right? Don’t need to get too into it? Good.
It’s the finest example of epic cinema that has come our way in a few years. It just juggles so much and still manages to do so well.
It’s still imperfect though. Only possible complaint I could throw at it is that the dialogue is at times, silly. Fortunately, it is in very short supply.
Provided you’re caught up on your Marvel cinema, definitely watch this if you haven’t already. It’s one of the best.

...I liked it. Didn’t love it. Not even as much as the first film, but I liked it. It expands a bit more on the little world and tech of Ant-Man, which is a good slice of the MCU pie. So to speak.
It just doesn’t have an effective enough story or antagonist to be great. The comedy sometimes fell flat, and the characters were far more goofy than expected. The first had its goofy moments but this one felt a bit more amplified. Wasn’t feeling it, but that could change.
It has some good heart and well executed action sequences, but expect no more than that.
