Took me a while to pull the trigger and watch this one. I was pleasantly surpirsed here as it took me back to childhood with goosebumps and Are you afraid of the dark. I was even happier that it still had a slipcover as i dont understand why store pull them off once a sale starts or the price lowers.

Totally unexpected release here as i can name a few other disaster flicks that derserve 4k over this one. However, the image quality on this release is pretty good and i love the thicker casing. As a 4k collector i buy most on day 1 but i would say for others its probably worth waiting on a good sale.

What would have been better than a saw 4k boxset to go alongside the release of Spiral. Oh well, atleast we got one of the better ones out of the franchise. The transfer here is definitely a upgrade of the bluray and it is proced just right.

I was very surprised to see this one come to 4K after how split the reviews were on this back in the 90s. I always welcome catalog titles to the format and after a few watches of LAH i knew this was a day 1 purchase. If you haven't seen it you may want to watch it once to see if you like it before shoveling out $25 or more. The steelbook is gorgeous and the slipcover is hideous but atleast we got options

Well worth the Upgrade

I've been waiting on this one for quite sometime now and it was worth it. 300 has some very thick grain especially in its opening moments. As the film progresses the HDR really begins to shine with noticeable uptick in shadow detail, deeper reds and more details in armor and weaponry. I hope we eventually get Rise of an Empire and another Zack Snyder film(Suckerpunch)

The MIB franchise could have done without this film. Although the film lacked the star power of Will Smith and Tommy Lee it still had that core MIB feel. Picture quality is vibrant and very sharp so why not pull the trigger and deepen the collection for $12.99
