After having used a front loader for the last 12 years, we moved back to a top loader. Much easier to load and unload. I bought this model because of the direct drive system. Clothes get clean, and it's easy to use. I find that most cycles are also quicker than our previous front loader, which always took at least an hour for any cycle.

I’m not sure what tool you are looking for but Dyson does sell extra tools. However, the included tools work great on my hardwood floor - which is the primary floor I use with this vacuum. It’s especially great for cleaning the crumbs left behind after my children eat.
