This serves it purpose! Purchased to use wired earbuds with the iPhone 13. Plug this piece into your phone and your earbuds into this piece and you have headphone for your iPhone 13. The downside is that you cannot charge your iPhone while using. (I’m not into wireless technologies too much). Not sure how long this piece will last, though, cause Apple wires seem to turtle neck and come apart after a while. It hasn’t happened yet but I’m waiting.

I’d been a Sony fan since childhood but their performance is declining. I purchased this speaker because of the name as I had not used JBL. Well, this speaker, even while plugged in, will lose its power. There is a power saving design that allows the speaker to decrease its volume when low battery which is so annoying when listening to music and the thing is already plugged in!! JBL may be better!

The socket suctions well to the phone however, the decorative cover pops off frequently and because the socket is soft rubber, without the decorative cover, the rubber just squishes together if you try to hold without, making it nearly impossible to hold the phone at that point. Fortunately, I haven’t lost the cover but if the cover pops off and you don’t see where it lands, this will become trash. With the cover on, it serves its purpose well! Just needs reinforcement for the cover to stay on.
