I'll make it very simple and clear: Captain Marvel is really worth a watch. It's just entertaining and visually impressive, exactly what it was meant to be.
Just keep this in mind that it's an origin story so don't go looking for an overstuffed complex story. It's just a fun action movie that introduces us to a new superhero Captain Marvel, played brilliantly by Brie Larson. I became an instant fan watching her in this action heroine avatar, something she manages to pull off with ease. Watch her in the action sequences and there's no way you can't be impressed. Viewers were literally cheering for some of the most heroic moments in the film. Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury is as awesome as always, it's just that his character feels even better and refined than what we've seen. Jude Law is also quite good, and so are Ben Mendelsohn and Lashana Lynch.
But the one character that ultimately steals the show is Goose, the cat. Some of the sequences involving her are so hilarious that it was really difficult to stop laughing.
Visual effects are excellent and since it's most importantly an action movie, every single action sequence it delivers is impressive, especially the train sequence. I would call it one of the major highlights of the movie. Cinematography in certain portions is really impressive. Humor, like any other MCU movie, is top notch and really manages to make you laugh.
Captain Marvel has a simple-looking origin story presented and executed in a terrific manner. The directors have done a great job with the characterization of Captain Marvel, and that is what makes everything in the film seem so good. The pace is brisk, gore is minimal to no, and there's nothing unsuitable for kids.
I'd definitely recommend watching Captain Marvel to anyone who likes superheroes or is simply a fan of action movies. You'll love it if you want to be entertained. It also does answer some much-asked questions, and that should be the reason enough for you to stay instead of just walking away.

What a movie !!! It is an absolute work of art. The people who say it is dark, moody and depressing should not be watching it at all. It does an excellent job of portraying life in the wilderness in the 1800's of men who trapped furs for a living and lived a very raw life just to survive. I honestly do not know how Leonardo DiCaprio ever managed to live through this movie while it was being made - I was frozen the whole time and felt like I was right there with him & the other trappers and Indians. Life back then was horrible and for the men that chose trapping in the wild during the time that Indians stalked everywhere; they really had a rough life. Eating raw fish & meat and even rotten food was just the way they had to take it sometimes, to survive. The Cinematographer Lubezki and the Director Alejandro certainly deserved awards for their skills and talents. I am going to look up the movie "Man in the Wilderness" with Richard Harris just to compare how the story was portrayed differently. This is an incredible movie, which certainly entertained me, even if it was hard to believe that the main character could survive so many unbelievable threats to his life!

I love this Ant-Man!

Once again, I was totally amazed at how well they pulled off Ant-Man. He was the only person from the MCU, which i was a little uncertain as to how Marvel was going to bring him into the story Arch. how they pulled it off totally surprised me, and it worked really well with the existing plot line of the arch of the MCU. personally, i like the movie version MUCH better than the comic book version of Ant-Man, as in the comics, he was really unstable (Crazy), and i really like the new direction they have taken him. it was brilliant how they filmed this movie in the theme of a bank hist. they could have really done a dis-service to this movie by going strictly by the comic book, and they would have killed the movie. very bold move on the part of marvel to remake the origin story. i think it works alot more cohesively now. i cant wait for the next Ant-Man. P.S. LOVED him in captain america civil war! he stole the show along with Spider Man!

Dyson Does it Again!

I own the Supersonic Hair Dryer and the Airwrap and I love them both dearly. Having owned each one for 2 years, I can tell that my hair health has dramatically improved, so when this came out I wanted it, but was a little apprehensive about purchasing. I am not one to straighten my hair on the regular just because I am afraid of damaging it. I do however use a flat iron daily on my fringe bangs because I have three cowlicks in that area that can only be tamed with heat.
When I received my Corrale, I was impressed by how sturdy it felt in my hands. I did get a touch of nervousness about how bulbous it was knowing that I was going to be using it daily on my bangs and it would be super close to my forehead. My previous flat iron got very hot on the end, so I expected this to do the same. Not the case. The end gets warm but I can touch it without burning myself. When I first used it on my bangs, it did a great job of not making them look too flat. I was impressed by how well it styled my bangs, so I went ahead and used it on the rest of my hair. I was surprised at how much I loved the look. My previous flat iron game me stick straight, flat hair. The Corrale straightened and still left me with some body. I have also had issues in the past when flat irons would snag my hair. This hasn’t happened with the Corrale.
A week after owning this, my power went out for two days. I had a meeting and was a little desperate to make sure my hair looked decent. I suddenly remembered the Corrale was fully charged. I was able to style my hair quickly and the 30 minute charge allowed me to style my medium length hair for two days until my power was restored.
Over all I love it on the same level I love my other two Dyson hair tools. My hair feels soft and looks shiny after I use it. I also didn’t think I would really care too much about it being cordless but I thoroughly enjoy that aspect of it. My Corrale is definitely much higher quality than any flat iron I have previously owned. I absolutely love it!

The Beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Marvel had produced many films before Iron Man with varying degrees of success. Just like doing a bit of DIY, sometimes they managed to bend the nail, but with Iron Man they hit it squarely on the head. Kicking off the film with a incredible opening sequence, viewers get to see action from the start and let the story unfold from there. The billionaire playboy, Tony Stark gets a rude awakening when he is attacked by the very weapons he created. Using his genious however, he comes to understand that he has the power to begin to fight those whom attacked him. By the end of this action packed, story driven masterpiece, you are left wanting to see more, not just of Robert Downey Junior but also of what Marvel can do. Iron Man is the beginning of the much larger story that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)

I can not see anyone in the role except Robert Downey Jr. I'm not a fan of Gwenyth Platrow but Downey even makes her supporting character seem important. What can I say Iron Man 3 is the best in the series so far.

I'm not a comic book fan, until the Avengers I just watched Iron Man because I went to the movies with the male members of the family but after the Avengers I went back and watched all the movies starting with Captain America, just to see how the whole thing comes together. I have to say each one of the movies can stand on their own but together they are box office gold. I'm caught up in the series now (geez) cheering for Captain American, lusting for Thor, liking the Hulk but appreciating Iron Man because face it Downey is the best actor out there.

The original Final Fantasy VII was a masterpiece that pushed video gaming beyond what many expected, combining a deep and intricate narrative with a cinematic quality, a beautiful yet perilous world corrupted with evil, and some of the most epic boss battles in gaming history. And despite the remake only expanding upon the first few hours of the game, it perfectly adapts the atmosphere and scale of the original and elevates it to new levels. This is perhaps the new standard for what a remake should do - keep many of the best elements of the original and expand on them heavily, while also adapting its best moments into a modern experience. Ratatouille is one of my all time favorite movies not just animated but in all categories. It has such a beautiful story filled with morale and inspiration things that can be applied to a persons every day life. The story of this rat named Remy who made up his mind that no matter who you are you can do great things. Not to mention the amazing detailed animation that looks absolutely superb on Blu-Ray. There is also a bunch of extra content such as the adorable animated shorts.

There's not much to say about the film that hasn't already been said - lovely, cheery, silly and extremely fun, it's a real feel-good animated feature. The animal characterisations are so funny, from cute Johnny the Gorilla to the punk porcupines, and it's enjoyable on many levels for all sorts of ages. Some of the funniest bits include the brief cameo parts, from the bunny trio to the red pandas - it's just packed with titter moments. And the finale is a musical extravaganza, which (literally) brings the house down. Perfect cheer-up viewing. If you love the film, this is a great special edition, too, with nice extras and shorts with the characters.

I read somewhere that this unique hair styler/dryer was a difinite splurge, but worth it. So true! It is crazy cool and works. I’ve got thin limp hair and the brush really does give lift and body instantly. The curl attachment softly grabs and curls without pulling and tangling the hair. Love it!
