After multiple purchases I finally gave up could never get one where the steelbook wasn’t scratched or dented in some manner. I ended up not owning one because it finally sold out without me ever getting a proper mint one which was really frustrating. Oh well nothing is ever guaranteed to have a perfect resolution 100% of the time.

CNET and a few other tech sites pushed this tv hard. For the price it had impressive specs minus the native 120 refresh rate it was only a 60.
The tech sites were correct and I now fully agree with CNET awarding this budget LED tv of the 2018.
Look if you want eye blistering super bright nit output THIS TV ISN’T FOR YOU BUT GET READY TO BUST YOUR WALLET if you want those high nit numbers.
This tv is meant for a budget conscious consumer with lets face it minimal disposable income but who wants to experience 4K with HDR.
During black friday this tv remained at $650 at every retailer except Best Buy who had it at $600.
Thankfully I held off on a Black Friday purchase and wouldn’t you know it mid December for just 7 days Best Buy dropped it down to $500!
I bought it and have zero regrets!
Roku and picture quality as good as the reviews have said really it’s that simple nothing complicated here.
I have a June 2018 build date and I have no screen light deformities whatsoever.
I tell you I was nervous when Best Buy brought me up the tv from their storage space (tv box was not on the show room floor) because the box was super dirty with thick brown rust like dust on the box and also beat up I was initially worried it was an open box but I was limited in time so I just bit the bullet and took it (got my jacket and car really dirty carrying that box though grrr). C’mon Best Buy a little more professionalism please at least wipe down the box that goes a long way to making a customer happy. I also just took the hand cart myself to my car because after they brought me the tv they just dipped lol.
Anyways I rambled on enough bottom line this tv is absolutely worth it at $600 and if they drop it down to $500 again don’t hesitate BUY IT ASAP!
