I'm very happy I broke down and bought one. Not sure if one is actually better then the other one, model wise. Trying to decide which to buy was more effort than installing it. Added Ring chime pro, and an extra battery to cycle as they're rechargeable. Mines hard wired so it does charge, but I believe in having a back up. Even rings my phone. Kinda cool..
