Fun little collectible

I'll be honest, I only got this because it was basically free, costing the same as what I would have paid for shipping for another item if this hadn't basically put me right at the free shipping threshold. That said, it's a fun little collectible that pays homage to one of our new heroes from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. It'll probably only appeal to you if you like the new movies, though (which I do). For any Star Wars fan that collects Funko Pop! figures, this is a good one to add to your collection.

I'll make this short and sweet: this is a beautiful steelbook. If you collect steelbooks and enjoyed Solo, do yourself a favor and keep an eye out for this steelbook. It may not be available anymore at Best Buy, but if you can find it elsewhere it's a must-have for any Star Wars fan's steelbook collection.

Well worth the wait

As a sequel to not just one of the best animated superhero movies ever, but one of the best superhero movies, period, The Incredibles II had some mighty big shoes to fill. And boy did it fill them. While I wouldn't go so far as to say the sequel eclipsed the original, Pixar did a fine job following one brilliant movie with another. The story is fresh and does a nice job not rehashing too many tropes from the original, wisely shifting focus from Mr. Incredible to Mrs. Incredible (Elastigirl) as the primary protagonist. To avoid getting too long-winded, let me leave you with this thought: it may have taken 14 years to get our sequel, but it was well worth the wait.

Great collection of fun movies

I'll keep this short and sweet: the Kingsman movies are brilliant. They're pretty much your standard secret agent movies, but they're so much more than that because they have heart and character. They don't take themselves too seriously, allowing for fun and humor where other movies wouldn't, but they also know how to deliver the humor without compromising the serious nature of the stories. If you haven't seen these movies, then I highly recommend giving them a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful Steelbook

This review is for the steelbook case only, and the quality of the movie will not be reflected at all in this score. This artwork is beautiful, and you can tell someone really thought about what they were doing when designing it. The exterior is a beautiful shot on the front of Captain Marvel in front of 2 opening airplane hangar doors, and the back a distressed shot of Captain Marvel's suit.
The interior is where this steel lost a star. It'd a beautiful shot of Carol Danvers climbing into the cockpit of her fighter jet, but true to form for many steelbooks they put the focus of the image behind the disc trays. So what you have when opened and the discs inside is a shot of the front half of an empty cockpit, where you should have a shot of the beautiful Brie Larson. It's still a great addition to any steelbook collection, and a must-have for MCU collectors.

Steelbook art leaves something to be desired

This is a review of thr steelbook only. The movie speaks for itself and is a solid 5 stars. The steelbook, however, leaves something to be desired. It's pretty and glossy and whatnot, but it feels lacking. Aside from Iron Man wearing thr wrong suit, everything feels stuck on. It feels more like an amateur photoshop job than a high-quality steelbook. It's still a nice addition to any steelbook collection, but it would look even better displayed on a shelf if a little more time had been put into the artwork, even if they meant waiting and not releasing the steelbook immediately alongside the regular blu-ray release.

A beautiful steelbook for a great movie

Anyone who's seen Into the Spider-verse knows how great it is, so I'm here to talk briefly about the steelbook artwork. First of all, I know you can just look at pictures to see everything I'm reviewing, but, nevertheless, here goes:
It's gorgeous inside and out. The outside is a simple graffiti graphic of Miles Morales' Spider-Man logo on the back and Spider-Man himself in front of a closeup of the spray paint graffiti logo on the front. It's a simple exterior, but it's still great to look at.
The inside is where, I think, the true beauty of this steelbook lies, and it almost makes me wish the interior artwork was on the outside. The inside is a pop-art comic book piece. It's full of color and great fun, and with a little tweaking to the overall layout and composition, it would have made a truly stunning exterior. That said, it's still beautiful on the inside as well.

A really great console

The Nintendo Switch is a great successor to the Wii U, and is everything the Wii U should have been. It's a truly portable console that doubles as a home console in docked mode and a handheld console when not. Graphics look great in both play modes. Overall I have nary a complaint except for 2 relatively minor things:
1. The user interface of the console is rather bland and uncustomizable. Adding the ability to customize the home screen would be a great addition to an already excellent console.
2. There are well-known connection issues with the joy-cons. Sometimes one of them will randomly disconnect and have trouble reconnecting. This is obviously only an issue in docked mode, as in handheld mode the joy-cons are directly connected to the console.
If you're on the fence about buying a Switch, my recommendation is to hop off that fence and into the "purchase" side. I promise you won't be disappointed!

This is a review of thw steelbook packaging only, not the movie (which I loved, for what that's worth). The steelbook is overall beautifully done. The exterior artwork really pops, giving this great shelf appeal. My only issue is with the interior image placement. The image is a beautiful shot from the movie, it's just very unfortunate that because of the way it's framed, it couldn't have been flipped so the characters didn't get covered up by the discs. Otherwise, this would be a great addition to any steelbook collection.
