This is one of the best sci fi/ alien movies all time! The steelbook is really cool looking with the worms on it! The 4k conversions are very good! Some of the best 4k conversions I seen so far! Especially the 3rd movie looks fantastic! If you pop in a bluray and then a 4k you will definitely see the difference in quality! I got this on sale for 35$ which is a great deal even the 59.99$ price is still worth it. You get 3 blurays, 3 4k movies, and 3 digital movies! If your a Men in Black fan or Sci-Fi fan definitely pick this set up!

Let me start to say this one of the best sci fi movies all time! And it’s nearly 20 years old and it still holds up! I had pretty high expectations for this 4k, while it is a big improvement over the blu Ray it could of been a lot better. I personally hate grainy movies, but this movie was made with grain and they didn’t use hardly any DNR so the grain is pretty noticeable throughout the movie. When I buy a 4k movie I don’t want to see that , but at some point if they got rid of the grain it would make the movie look worse. Granted this movie is 20 years old and made with film grain so not much could be done. I’m very picky when it comes to video quality so take my complaints with a grain of salt.But the colors the blacks, and the action scenes are awesome! The greens really pop out of the screen and you can see every detail of Morpheus face! If your a fan of the movie definitely pick this up!

This is what 4k is suppose to be, crystal clear, vivid colors,and deep blacks! I don’t think I have seen a better 4k movie yet on picture quality! This will be the movie you pop in when you wanna show your TV off! And the movie is the entire screen no black bars, I really wish they would do away with widescreen or whatever. Definitely pick this movie up if you have a 4k TV and 4k player!

So the first TV I purchased was a Sony 900f terrible idea, very bad panels, dirty screen. Don’t recommend. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone not wanting to spend over 1200$ on a TV. This has just as good as picture and better local dimming than Sony! Go to Rtings.com and look at there ratings for this tv. Only issues is this Tv seems to take a lot of energy and the viewing angle. Not much of issues for me. This TV has probably the best picture out of all the TVs out there until you get to the very expensive OLED which I don’t think are worth 3x the price. Some of the best 4k movies to show off this tv would be: Pacific Rim, Interstellar, The Dark Knight , Rises, Dunkirk, ready player one. Any of those movies will show you what this tv has to offer. Please be aware not all 4k movies are created the same, some are very grainy and not very well converted and some are excellent crisp images! Don’t listen to the bestbuy associates that bash this brand, and only want you to buy Sony and Samsung that are 2 Grand a piece.

This review isn’t about the movie itself but the conversion to 4k. Don’t get me wrong it’s better than the blu Ray the colors and blacks are pretty good. But the movie is FULL of grainy scenes in the majority of the movie, and sometimes it’s a distraction from the rest of the movie. They should of removed the grain, it’s pretty bad honestly . A 4k movie shouldn’t have that much as it does. The scenes aren’t as clear as they should be. It’s worth watching in 4k but it’s not that great of a “4k” movie. The action scenes are pretty good but that’s about it

I seen this movie so many times on blu Ray and I can definitely see the difference in picture quality! Virtually zero grain, vivid colors, deep blacks! I never seen this movie look so good! This is one of the best movies all time! Definitely pick this movie up if you have a 4k TV or terminator fan!

I thought buying a $2000 Sony TV wouldn’t have problems but after watching it for about 20 minutes I noticed a vertical line about 1/3 from the right side. It was on 4k movie and TV. It was either a burn in , or terrible panel quality. The picture was great don’t get me wrong but a $2000 Sony TV shouldn’t have a line in the picture... Be very careful when you buy one of these... Sony’s quality has went down significantly. Returned the TV the same day....

I bought this TV and I returned the first one because the whole screen turned purple in the middle of a movie. I exchanged it for another one and it worked better, but I'm not that impressed.
I loved the picture quality when viewing 4k content. But when viewing 1080p and 720p content there was a lot of color banding in dark scenes. This was very obvious and distracting. I returned the TV and went back to my 1080p plasma. I will be looking for another TV

Your in for a world of hurt if your looking to find a good 4k that does 1080p or 720p “good”. I bought a 2000$ Sony and it looked like crap on 1080 and 720 this actually better than Sony.. It highly depends on the content your watching as well. Some 4k movies look terrible and some are crystal clear it depends on how it was processed. I wouldn’t blame the TV.

While the picture is nice, I've noticed that there is a weird flickering of images at times, and have had the tv completely shut off and turn back on. I've also seen a weird pixelation issue, though appears randomly and for a short time then the tv turns off and back on again with it gone. So, I have been unable to take a screen capture.
Tried different HDMI ports and happens on each of them. When the TV works, it does have a great picture, HDR and the local array lighting really make a different. Possibly a faulty unit, though either way this is most likely going to be returned due to the random issues I've experienced.
