Sometimes the Apple TV is not recognized by my tv. The light is on but no one is home. I have tried unplugging it, resetting internet, unplugging HDMi. Not sure which solution works but it takes a while to get it to come back on. This is a known issue, I wish they would roll out an update for it. It is very frustrating, especially as I have not had the device very long.
I will say that I liked the layout of some of the apps on the older gen apple tvs; especially Hulu, HBO and Showtime. Takes a little getting used to and not as user friendly inside those apps anymore.
