Little noisy but works great

I got a really nice Viking range so I had to get the matching hood. The hood looks and works great. It’s professional quality, even has the grease filters and socket for a heating lamp. One thing to note is that the blower is a little noisier than I was expecting, but then again I don’t have much experience with anything but your standard range hood. One thing that was annoying was that the Best Buy rep forgot to mention to me that the internal blower isn’t included. That will set you back another couple hundred so be prepared for that.

Friendly and Fast, not punctual

Best Buy contracts a third party to deliver appliances. It won’t be the same company for each delivery so I’m sure others’ experiences with this service will vary. The guys who delivered my washer and dryer were super friendly, helpful, and quick to install. My only complaint was that they arrived over an hour after the delivery window with no phone call to tell us of the delay. Not a huge issue for me since it was a Saturday and I was home for most of the day, but I can see this being a problem for someone with a tight schedule. I realize Best Buy is relying on the third party to notify them of a delay but maybe there could be a better system to prevent it from happening or to notify the customer before or at the beginning of the delivery window.

This is one of the best purchases I’ve made for my house. I tried a “smart” thermostat from another company for a few months before I switched and I have to say it did not come close to the level of simplicity and convenience of the Nest E. Go for the E over the Learning Thermostat. It has the same smarts, is way more affordable, and looks better in my opinion. In minutes, I had it set up, connected to the app, and controllable from my smart speaker. Keep an eye open for local rebates as the Nest E can almost entirely pay for itself before you even open the box (I found a $75 rebate plus another $50 rewards for signing up for my electric company’s energy saving program on top of the Black Friday sales pricing). The additional money I save from the learning software is just the icing on top.

It's a hose. And it works. Splits the cold water line so I can use my washer and the steam function on my dryer. The instructions make it seem like you can remove your old hose by hand but most likely you will need a channel lock wrench. Someone handier than me probably could've figured that out without spending an hour cussing at himself like I did. 5 stars for no leaks.

Is this required for a gas dryer with a steam feature? I am interested in purchasing a gas dryer, model: DV45K6500GV, and want to know if i need to purchase this in order for the steam feature to work.
For the newer models (including the model you specified), you will need this kit to use the steam function. If you go to the product page, under Specifications, there is a category called Water Source. The older models will say Reservoir, the newer models will say Fill Hose. This kit comes with the Y-shaped mixer hose and the fill hose that connects to the dryer.

I thought that you can use the steam feature on LG dryers by filling the reservoir on the front of the unit, and that you don’t have to hook up to water? Please confirm.
The newer LG models use a fill hose instead of a reservoir. If you go to the Specifications under the product page, you should see a category called Water Source. The older models will say reservoir. The newer models will say fill hose. If it says fill hose, then you will need the steam dryer installation kit that has both the Y-shaped mixer hose and the fill hose for the steam dryer.
