Ok inexpensive antivirus protection for 1 device

I installed McAfee Total Protection recently, replacing another more expensive version of McAfee that I have had for several years on the same computer. I had to completely uninstall the previous program in order to install this one, which was a bit of a pain. I am getting more pop-ups and false positives (suspicious activity detected and blocked on this website ... when the website is a major news outlet) with McAfee Total Protection. It seems to use a less sophisticated algorhythm. Antivirus works and is inexpensive. Recommend on that basis, but there is better available if you are willing to pay more.

I have had very mixed results when Best Buy has sent an installation team out to my house. The ones who do the washing machines are apparently independent contractors, rather than Geek Squad employees and some of them don't have a clue what they are doing. The pair that installed my Samsung 4.4 CF washing machine arrived ahead of their scheduled appointment and did a good job on the installation. No complaints.

Good top loading washing machine with an agitator

The Samsung 4.4 CF top loading washing machine with an agitator is a new product, so I bought it mostly on faith based on the feature set, which is very good for a mid-priced washing machine. So far, I like it far better than the LG 7100 W 4.5 CF top loading washing machine with an impeller that it replaced. The Samsung cleans cloths better, you can accurately set the water level you want (low, medium, high, extra high) for both the wash and the rinse cycle on every setting EXCEPT "normal". On normal wash, the rinse consists of spritzing the cloths with water from the active jet as the tub spins around. The tub does not fill with water. In fairness, that seems to get most of the soap out of the cloths, but I prefer the deep rinse. The other potential issue is that the washing machine vibrates a lot when getting towards the end of the spin cycle ... much more than any other washing machine I've ever owned. It does this even when you are doing a tub clean cycle where the only thing in the machine is water and it can't be off balance. So far the washing machine hasn't "walked" while vibrating, but the vibration is very high and it is a possibility. The machine was leveled when it was installed, so that isn't the cause.

Will this laptop play a movie that is on a CD? I can't find anywhere to insert a CD.
You would have to buy a stand-alone CD or Blu Ray player that connects to the laptop. There is no built-in CD player in this model.
