You just have to check the voltage requirements of the washer, But I'm going to assume it's fine. I believe it is the dryers that have the funky, 3 pin plugs that may require additional power. Most washers that I'm aware of need only 110 to run the dashboard and electronics. One way to know for sure is to peek behind your washer and make sure it is plugged in to a standard 110 electrical outlet. It should look like the rest of the outlets in your kitchen or bedroom.
