This movie is not going to win any awards and will probably not impress anyone looking for some mind-blowing sci-fi adventure that makes you ask questions. But, if you're looking for some down and dirty action with a no-nonsense silly character, then it's hard not to like Dredd. It's a satire that knows how silly it is, and understands the source material. It has no frills and was made on the cheap, but it is one of my favorites and is an absolutely good time while it's on.

While a Musou game, still Persona in the best ways

I know that when you see the Omega Force developer name and the fact that this isn't a traditional RPG may immediately put you off, but you should really give it a try. It carries over many of the elements that make Persona 5 so good: plentiful character interactions, various locales in Japan, and the deep reservoir of collecting and fusing of Personas. While you will still be pressing square a whole bunch and triangle a few times here and there, the action is dazzling and they mimic the style and design of the original game very well.
If you're a fan of Persona 5, this is a real story continuation and as such will carry a lot of value there. But, if you're not here for the story, the combat is a good deal of fun when it needs to be, even if it can sometimes get a little too repetitive.

Definitely no Inception, interesting but confusing

I like Christopher Nolan movies a decent amount. I like Inception immensely. This movie tries to recapture the mind-bending action/heist concept of Inception but with an even grander and more difficult to comprehend concept of time inversion.
What is that, you might ask. It's not time travel per se, it's time flowing backwards while being in time as we know it moving forwards. If that already is leaving you confused, as it did and still does for me, I'm sorry to say this movie might not be that enjoyable for you. It is a much harder concept to explain that dreams within dreams and even after watching the movie I still don't quite get it.
Combine this with a half-baked plot about a super secret agency called "Tenet" that isn't solved or explained in the leas, all the twists and turns of a thriller that don't really feel all that satisfying, and a third act that I found not only boring but incomprehensible in it's execution; I'd say this movie is well-made and features some stuff that looks really cool but ultimately it's a confusing and oftentimes aggravating mess that sets up a world that I'm not sure I want to see any more of.

Even if you didn't like The Last Jedi and expected a return to form for JJ Abrams, this movie is lackluster in both writing and plot. It is nonsensical and stupid at every turn and not only feels unfinished but barely held together by the strength of Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver's performances which are wasted on this sad and wasteful end to a trilogy that was so promising after the first two movies.
