If I purchase a watch with GPS & Cell for my 11 yr old, can I choose not to activate cellular? Trying to figure out if he can use it in WIFI for sending texts without phone capabilities. Not ready for him to have phone yet!
That was my first question for the salespeople. You should give them a call and discuss your options because there are quite a few but it does need to be activated under a cell number. It can activate standalone but that requires a separate line it's best to just piggyback with one of your cells
