A reasonably priced offering of these movies for a library of movies. Good quality picture, better than the original version and the sound is quite good. I saw this movie when it was first out and with the advances in the technical delivery of new movies it is dated, but still interesting as it is a close representation of the original Bram Stoker tale and Mary Shelley's version of the horror tale. I like it for the quality and value.

Iconic. Simply put, Iconic. For anyone that hasn't watched it, dont hesitate & dont let the remakes / reputation make you think it was a gorefest like today's movies. It wasn't, and surprisingly, just as effective. True classic.

The twists are twists they've used several times before. It's a respectable addition to the franchise, but it doesn't bring in anything new to justify reopening what was supposed to be a completed series.
