Great upgrade from the s90c

I bought the 83 inch s90c. I had an issue where the tv needed to be unplugged to get rid of a white line going horizontal across the screen. The tv was 18 days old. I had to call samsung due to the 15 day return policy at bb. Samsung ended up exchanging for the s90d 83inch. Everything i loved about the s90c was just a little better. Brighter for sure. Hdr looks even better. The tizen app much more responsive. The tv still doesnt love the max app. Not sure why. It will go to max, but it thinks about it much longer than any other app. At the current sale price 3299 i think it is a must have. The woled in this tv knocks it out the park.

I bought this HP Chromebook instead of a tablet. What a massive mistake. I returned it after 2 days. It can't run Windows programs, so you are basically limited to what the web has to offer. It can run some apps on the Play Store, but alot of the apps don't have a tablet mode and won't work. Other apps work, but they get stretched somewhat to fit the screen and get pixelated and look like garbage. Billiards apps work well though. On the plus side...the keyboard is nicely backlit...the screen resolution is good...and I like its ability to fold so it's tablet-like. But...it's so not a tablet. A Chromebook is nothing more than a web browser with a screen and a keyboard. Spend the same money and get a Samsung S5E tablet...which is lighter and can do far more. My 2 star rating basically says "it's nice but it's something that is completely pointless"...cuz I already have the Chrome browser on my phone and home computer. Total. Waste. Of. Money.

Kinda strange review. You give it two stars for being exactly what it says it is. It doesn't claim to run windows. Doesn't claim to be anything more than a Chromebook, that folds into a tablet. I swear if it wasn't 2019 I think I would understand the confusion, but today everyone knows Chromebooks won't run windows. And that it it runs the app it probably won't be exactly like your phone since the form factor is so different.

Do not be buy this based on the 4+ stars. The TV is nice/the colors are great, but the software is trash. Google Roku restart loops or Roku startup issues.
If you buy a 1.5K tv, it should start up no problem. Not the case with this. Please look up all the issues with the firmware and software for the tcl tv.
I got blinded by the quality of this tv and now I can't even watch the tv. I bought it yetersday and it will just reboot, update, reboot, update, reboot, update.

Thought I'd be happier but they're pretty average speakers i would say. The tweeters disappointed me and I ended up unplugging them cause of how forced the sound camera out. Might trying putting them more towards the middle of my car so it evens out the music instead of making it seem like all the sound is coming from tiny a** speakers in the front of my car.

Did you try calling samsung directly? My 83 inch s90c malfunctioned after 18 days. Best buy return is only 15 days. So I called Samsung, they did not have a service center in my area. So they sent me a brand new s90d.. the new model. Whole process took about 3 weeks. I couldn't be happier. Good luck
