Tight thriller that's a Hitchcock throwback.

I hadn't seen this movie in a while, but it stands up as a pretty good thriller with an interesting plot. It jumps right into the action and you have to figure things out along with Russell. Not a lot of character development, but it's not needed. Tight story telling and it gets right to it. Supplements aren't a lot, but what's there is good. Picture looks great. Reminds me of a Hitchcock thriller.

Excellent speaker that was easy to set up and pair with the TV. It's made to work only with Roku Tvs which is what I am using it with, and I couldn't be happier. The sound is terrific and the speaker remote works just like the TV remote. The only gripe I have is that despite the remote working everything, it won't turn the TV on-I have to use the TV remote and then when I turn the speaker on the TV recognizes the speaker remote and it syncs. It might just be me, but I've looked things up and can't figure a way around it. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars.

Great end to the Craig era.

A terrific way to end Craig's ear as Bond. The story is really good and the acting is great. The adventure in Cuba is a highlight. This blu ray is terrific, I just wish the documentary that's on the 4K disc was on the blu ray as well. It covers the Craig era and is a must for Bond fans.

Fun follow-up to a classic.

It's not nearly as good as the original, but it's still a fun action film and the leads still play well off of each other. This blu ray is an improvement over the first issue. It looks great and has a part 2 to the director's interview/documentary which is again very interesting. Stories I've read say there was a 150 minute version, then a just over 2 hours version a week prior to opening and we ended up with this 90 minute movie. It's a shame the footage isn't here or a "director's cut" or extended cut isn't here but this is still worth a pick up. Maybe someday the cut footage and plot points will see the light of day.

This is really the movie that set the standard for buddy cop films. Nolte is terrific as a grizzled, no-nonsense cop and Murphy lights up the screen in the movie that made him a star. Great adult action with lots of good humor interlaced in a standout 80s action film many other have tried, and in a lot of cases failed, to live up to. This blu ray looked great and the documentary interview with the director gave a lot of insight into the movie. Well worth your time and a big improvement from the no frills first blu ray.

Throwback figure which, when I ordered it, was the only way to get an action figure of one of the best characters in this show. Loved the retro package and the simplicity of the figure. I wish modern action figures weren't so expensive and hard to find- especially in stores where kids should be able to locate, get and then play with. These are supposed to be for kids (why I get mine-for my kids) and collectors are killing the industry just like the trading card industry. Would give it 5 stars, but the price stops that; I remember getting these when they were $3 or less. No way inflation gets it to $10 kids can't afford them- collectors suck.

Finally this movie is available after all these years. Yeah, a DVD came out a long time ago, but this blu ray looks great and this is one of Bill Murray's best movies and performances that's gotten lost over the years. His only venture into directing and it's a home run. Just hilarious and a very original idea. The jousting scene kills me every time. Bizarre and I want to know what the heck is going on! Classic.

Can you get Bally Sports, specifically Padres baseball games, with Roku without cable TV?
Roku is just a way to put apps and streaming services on a TV. You need to actually have a streaming service app that has those channels in order to watch the games. Look up who carries that and those are your choices. I did that to see Astros games-only DirectTv, DirectTV Stream, FuboTV and something else I can't remember what had them so those were my choices.
