Excellent Video/Audio but Package Feels Cheap

Each of the Jurassic films included the set features excellent 4K video and Dolby Atmos audio. Unfortunately, the package is not true steelbook and the figurine seems cheaply made. My kid enjoyed having it, so it's still recommended. But the price seems too high. Recommended for Jurassic and velociraptor fanatics.

All-Time Great Gets Proper 4K-Steelbook Treatment

Since viewing this film in the theater as a kid when it came out over 40 years ago, I have never experienced Raiders of the Lost Arc with such vivid colors, contrast and audio resolution. To be fair, the 4K has been available in standard 4K case and as part of the Indiana Jones set. But the artwork on the set and the standard case feel cheap and do not live up to the standards of the original Raiders movie, which is by far the best of the franchise. I highly recommend this version for a definitive keepsake.

The color reproduction, audio, picture detail and gorgeous steelbook artwork make for a stunning 4K release of The Bridge on the River Kwai. Though dated in some respects and timeless in others, the movie looks and sounds like it could have been filmed more recently. The steelbook artwork is exquisite, capturing the essence of the film in its design and making for a great keepsake.

Must have 4K for unrivaled Wick cinematography

Each Wick film has successively greater production ambitions, and Chapter 4 is a quantum leap beyond even Chapter 3. The sets, locations, and production values captured are amazing to behold in 4K. The audio is phenomenal too in Dolby Atmos. Each fight scene is as inventive and violent as ever. The content explodes in audio, video bliss.
My only complaint about the cinematography is in the fight location in the empty house in Paris. The camera is raised up above the actors for a unique-to-Wick top-down view. While it's still entertaining, you lose the sort of feel of being in the midst of the action. The views are not as the fighters would see them. So in that respect my only complaint is that the cinematography got too inventive for its own good. But this is just a brief sequence in a longer scene.
In terms of the overall movie, no one watches Wick for the plot but the ending left JW in a suitable place to either end or reboot the franchise. Lastly, the steelbook artwork didn't appeal to me once I had it in my hands and could see it in person. I won't deduct any points for this, as others may appreciate the steelbook design more. As for me, I crammed Chapter 4 in a trilogy steelbook, also from Best Buy, so all 4 films are together.

Disney 100? Really?

I preordered the original three Star Wars steelbook 4K titles, but returned each of them because the steelbook design is terrible. Granted this is a superficial reason, but not nearly as superficial as Disney celebrating its 100th anniversary by minimizing the movie graphic and emphasizing the Disney logo. Of course, the Star Wars franchise was relatively recently purchased by Disney, which makes the design super obnoxious. I saw these movies in the theater when they first came out. So it's not a welcome marketing campaign to rebrand them so visibly. I can't recommend the steelbook because of the obnoxious design.

Continuing in the tradition of Ragnarok

Love & Thunder continues in the tradition of Ragnarok, turning Thor into a very human fallen god, haunted by insecurities, loss and guilt. But this makes Thor more relatable than the picture perfect hero of the Marvel comics. It also makes for great comedy. You can't take it too seriously. Still, it tackles issues of diety worship, cancer, kidnapping and the importance of a father figure, which are about as serious as MCU gets. The contrast is wonderful. Christian Bale turns in a great performance as the god-killer. Highly recommended. The 4K steelbook makes for a wonderful keepsake with superior audio/video quality.

Better than I remember

The first time I saw this film I didn't think DiCaprio pulled off the role well enough, but after treating myself to the 4K steelbook and viewing a couple more times, I realize he and Scorsese are the perfect team to bring this story to the screen. The video and audio quality are top notch. The cinematography and soundtrack are just as entertaining as the story. Some of the funniest moments Scorsese set to film.

Restoring faith in MCU as the franchise declines

There have been some recent clunkers with Marvel films lately. Eternals in particular did not nearly achieve the level of the pre-Endgame MCU franchise. No Way Home is a return to the quality of the earlier films, and in fact surpasses the entertainment value and effects of the earlier Spidey movies. The 4K steelbook offers a wonderful keepsake. Sorry to those who missed out on the first pressing of this steelbook, but it's your own fault for not preordering and you shouldn't rate the film low for your mistake. The picture and audio are 5-star all the way. I hope more Marvel films are this good. Looking forward to the upcoming Thor and Dr. Strange outings.

Free Guy is a good movie that looks excellent in 4K. It is Ryan Reynolds' attempt at a more wholesome film than the Deadpool franchise that made him a household name. Free Guy has a decent plot, but the humor doesn't work nearly as well as Deadpool, and I found myself missing the crass humor and inappropriate content that worked so well for him. As usual, the steelbook makes a great keepsake.

Not a steelbook, except the tiny digital code case

This is a review of the 4K steelbook edition packaging. When a title is marketed as a steelbook that means the actual disc case is made of steel. But this edition actually uses a normal plastic case. The only steel case is for a small card that has the digital code on it. This steel case is far too small to hold the disc. You can't really tell any of this from the item description or photos. Worse, this item is expensive even compared to real steelbooks. It's wrong to charge a premium for this tiny steel case that most people will buy thinking they are getting a real steelbook edition. False marketing.

This is a bit upsetting as there was no way to know this until you open the case and try to redeem the digital download code.
John Wick 1 and 2 are only able to activated on Vudu, I wanted these to be activated on Apple TV(iTunes Movies) instead.
John Wick 3 was able to be activated on Apple TV. So now this bundle is split across 2 different streaming providers.
There really needs to be a disclaimer stating what streaming providers are supported!
Would love to return this, however the package has been opened, and now I am no longer able to.

Yes, everyone knows Vudu sucks and that some titles from some distributors force you to use Vudu for the digital copy. But you bought a Steelbook version of these films presumably to play the 4K discs, and you didn't review those whatsoever.
