This is one of the good ones! Devil May Cry returns to it's roots. The gameplay is deep and stylish, lots of flashy combos. The game is somewhat short but there's a lot of replay value with 6 difficulty modes and 3 very different playable characters.

I enjoyed Death Stranding but it's a difficult game to recommend. The core gameplay is literally just walking around a sometimes-harsh environment delivering packages. You'll occasionally need to use tools such as ladders or ropes. There's not much in terms of challenge.
The story also isn't as great as I was expecting, it's a little cheesy and campy at times.
However, it's a pretty chill and relaxing game, the environments are really pretty and it has a decent soundtrack. If you're a fan of any other job simulator games like "farming simulator" or "euro truck simulator", you might enjoy this.

Snooze fest that relies on nothing but jump scares

I was actually a big fan of "Until Dawn" so I had high hopes for this.
The game is short, none of the characters are likable, there's very little in terms of setting/atmosphere. While Until Dawn had some intrigue and backstory/world building, this game has nothing but jumpscares, which didn't even work as intended. The time inbetween jumpscares is so boring you'll fall asleep.
The only saving grace is the multiplayer, which ironically is probably the feature responsible for removing all of the things that made Until Dawn good. It has a unique online multiplayer mode which allows 2 players to play separate scenes that are happening simultaneously, this adds some replay value I guess. It also has a local party mode that's the same as the singleplayer but allows different players to control different characters, prompting the next player to ready themselves as it switches characters.
If I wasn't playing this with friends there's no way I could have suffered through it. I can't imagine how boring it would be single player.
tldr: good for a laugh if you're playing with an online friend or a local group of friends, avoid if you're planning to play it alone.

The build quality is really good and the battery life is crazy, I've gone weeks before needing to charge it.

A mix of metroidvania and dark souls, this is one of the best games I've ever played. Very hard to put down once you get started, you'll want to see what's beyond the next area. You get a genuine sense of discovery when you figure out how to use your tools and abilities to reach the next area. The environments are large but never feel empty, there's so much charm and detail, the music and visuals are stunning. Difficulty feels just right, a tad more difficult than your average metroidvania game but not as difficult as a souls game.

Fun grindy/quest based rpg but small player base

This is a quest-based rpg similar to games like Monster Hunter, Toukiden, god eater, etc. You have 4 playable characters and will embark on quests from a hub town where you can prepare by buying/crafting equipment and items. You will often have to repeat the same quests multiple times in order to level up or get the loot you need to tackle the next quests.
The 4 characters all feel very unique.
The gameplay in both platforming and combat feels nice and responsive.
The visuals and music are very good.
However, the maps are large and clearly designed around multiplayer, but the playerbase is very small, sometimes I'm unable to find anyone. This is made worse by the fact there's no local (same console) multiplayer.

The gameplay isn't too difficult or deep but it's very flashy and stylish looking. There's a lot of nonsense-filler open world stuff like collectibles and fishing that I could live without. A lot of your time spent will be driving around or watching loading screens as you fast travel.
It is however one of the prettiest looking games I've ever played. The HDR implementation is really good if you have a capable display.
If you've played the base game and didn't mind it I would highly recommend this version of the game because there have been a lot of improvements and extra content.

I bought this solely because I heard it was by the same people who brought us Danganronpa. Because of this my expectations were kind of high. Despite a couple of nods and occasional similar vibes it gave me, it didn't really live up to Danganronpa in my opinion. This doesn't mean it's a bad game, I actually did enjoy it, just don't go in expecting perfection like I did.
Zanki Zero, similar to games like Danganronpa or 999, starts off with 8 strangers waking up in a strange place with no idea how or why they got there. They discover that they're the last remaining humans on earth and that their current bodies are "clones" of their original bodies. Throughout the game you will be exploring dungeons in the gameplay style of a first person dungeon crawler. Fighting enemies, leveling up, getting new gear and materials to expand your home base. One thing that Z.Z. does that's somewhat unique is a mechanic in which when you die, your next "clone" body will be more resilient to the way in which you died. With this mechanic the game encourages you to die in different ways, each time making your next body stronger and stronger. As you go through the dungeons you'll slowly uncover the mystery behind what happened to the world, what the 8 of you have in common, why you were "cloned", etc etc.
It's essentially a horror/mystery visual novel with first person dungeon crawling game play.
I found the gameplay personally to be a little boring and tedious, especially when your characters die to a new enemy or trap and you have to use your reserve members to pick up all their gear, go back to base, "clone" them, and re-equip their gear. Thankfully though the game offers SEVERAL different difficulty options, the lowest of which actually removes all enemies and survival elements from the game, basically turning it into a visual novel where you explore empty ruins and solve the occasional puzzle. The lowest difficulty basically eliminating the combat/survival is kind of what saved the game for me. Halfway through I dropped the difficulty all the way and just enjoyed it as a visual novel essentially.
There's lots of intrigue and plot twists in the story, it kept me interested throughout.

This game is very short and linear, it can be completed in a couple of sittings. Some might consider this a negative but I enjoyed every second of the game and never felt like it outstayed it's welcome. Hellblade is a little difficult to describe, it's mostly a narrative driven "walking sim" type game with some light puzzles and a simple yet satisfying combat system. The game does some reaaaally unique things with audio design, play it with headphones!!

I saw that it says on the PC version this game is "Local Multiplayer" and saw it in the Trailer as well, does that mean if I wanted to play the PS4 Console Version I can sit in a Room with my GF or Friends and both Play Together with 2 Separate Controls?
Yes it features a local multiplayer mode that supports 2-4 (maybe 5?) players, each can use their own controller. At the start it will ask which characters you want to assign to which players. Whenever the game switches to another character's segment it will prompt that character's player to press a button to confirm they're ready.
