Pays homage to the original, the CGI does not detract too much from the believability simply because it's a video game this time and well Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is still enjoyable to watch. Literally anything he does, especially with the chemistry of the cast, is a guaranteed enjoyment even if the story could've used more help.

Honestly I'm a big assasins creed fan and played all the video games this review is bias, to an extent. Speaking subjectively, if you're a fan, go out there and buy this movie. One of the better video game movies that exist and deepens the lore of assasins creed. Speaking objectively, the story could've used a little more work, the action is alright, parkour realistic except for a few parts, and honestly at the price it is today ( I think about 5 bucks on sale) it's pretty worth it for action, historical fans.

I've watched all the transformers movies. And not because I'm a fan but because I like watching movies. I'm very patient with these transformers movies but the last 3 or 4 literally put me to sleep in the theater. Now bumblebee really hits it out of the park by not making it about saving the world and more about a nice tight story involving the relationship between a girl and its friend robot. Worth it in my opinion.

I noticed there are two releases for this 4k version. One released in 2018 and another in 2016. Are there differences other than the rebranded cover like audio and video of the two releases?
I had a similar question in mind as well. Besides the reason you just mentioned (audio/video) the only discernable difference I've noticed is that one version comes with the Digital copy so you can download it onto Vudu/Movies anywhere account while the other is simply the 4k & blu ray version.

Yes as long as the hard copy (on the box) mentions "digital copy" there should be a slip of paper on the inside of the box with the code.
