I've purchased this movie from format to format and will continue to do so. Still my favorite war movie of all time. The folks over 60 might say many of the older epic movies may be better in their opinions but the dirtyness and realism of the movies made in the 60s and before were just not real enough. The makeup, effects, and sets just cant hold a candle to Saving Private Ryan. I remember people walking out and crying because of the realism of this while watching it 2 times in the theaters upon release.
