Terrific countertop appliance

The new Breville Smart Oven quickly became our go-to kitchen appliance. It has so many functions that we haven’t been able to use all of them in the month since the marvelous device was delivered. We’ve toasted bread, bagels and English muffins — all done to perfection thanks to the Breville’s settings buttons. We’ve roasted chickens baked pizzas, cooked cornbread, and broiled salmon —all with ease. We tried out the air-fry function for fried chicken, and were most pleased with the results. This Breville handles all the tasks our big oven does, and more. Its compact size has a relatively small countertop footprint, and the two racks area big help when making bacon for a family brunch.
Our old Breville oven served us well for almost a decade, but this new model boasts many bells and whistles — such as the dehydration function —that we’re hoping to try out over the next decade. This appliance is well worth its cost.

High energy bargain

I run through batteries (remotes, flashlights, clocks, etc.) like nobody’s business. So I really appreciate a bargain pack like this from Best Buy’s budget brand. They work as well and last as long as brand name batteries, and give me comfort in knowing I have plenty of spares for myself and extras for neighbors.

I’m so glad I got this Ultra HD Blu-Ray. Not only does the disc include much more footage than the theatrical and 4K release, but the images of the foggy Scotland landscape are stunning. The battle scenes are extremely sharp and quite gruesome, to be sure. But if you like grand vistas of hordes of soldiers fighting for freedom —or their king— this disc is a good choice.

I have a 64 GB Apple TV for my main big screen TV downstairs, so I figured the 32GB would be fine for my smaller bedroom scree. And I was right. The unit works just as well as it’s more powerful companion, an easily enables me to purchase, rent and watch movies and TV shows from iTunes, as well as use other subscription apps, such as Hulu and Acorn. The remote is easy to use, especially the Siri feature. Screen images, even fast motion, stream effortlessly. What’s not to like? I’m happy with this product and it’s Best Buy price.
