It is a good idea to have BestBuy install a protection shield on your iPhone, Purchase the screen and for a small fee, they will install the screen. If they mess the new screen up on install, they do not charge you for another screen protector. This had happened to me and on the second try, it was perfect!
If you take the screen home and install it yourself and it gets put on incorrectly, you're out the money on your purchased screen and you will have to purchase another screen at your own cost.

When we purchase an appliance or a TV from BestBuy, we always get the Geek Squad extended warranty.
We purchased a new washer from BestBuy and had a problem with the soap dispenser from day one. They were available when we were home from work, so scheduling is not a problem.
However, it did take almost 2 weeks to get the parts in so they could come back and fix the problem.
The service was great. But the wait on parts was not favorable. That is the reason for the 3-star rating.

There was a lesson learned from a major appliance we purchased but did not purchase the extended warranty. Just a few weeks after the manufacture's warranty expired, the appliance quit working properly. After getting a quote on repair, it was more sensible to purchase a new appliance!
