The 256GB is enough to download favorite music or a few movies to take with you while traveling. The screen size is perfect for those who need a larger screen for viewing or to watch a great movie (compared to viewing on a phone).
If you travel and just need to use a simple spreadsheet or document, the iPad is perfect for creating or adding to an existing spreadsheet/document. Pulling from or adding to the Cloud is the best thing for all these options!
