My dog has a habit of carrying treats around then hiding them. This Roomba found a frosted carob treat and let me tell you, it picked it right up!!
It also made a mess inside the unit. It took several times of cleaning it out until it stopped giving me the "bin full" notification. That said, it's back to perfect working condition.
It does all it says and doesn't bang into furniture like my 560.

I upgraded from a mid-1990s Kenwood receiver. It still works great, but it doesn't have HDMI passthrough, and my Samsung smart TV only has two HDMI ports and I was tired of switching out inputs.
My favorite part about upgrading to something 20 years newer is the automatic setup with the included calibration mic. My speakers have never sounded better! Excellent mid-range option, fulfills my need for a simple 5.2 surround sound experience.

I currently have the 770 model. My bedroom rug has areas of black in it. My model will not vacuum over black or very dark brown. Does the 960 clean dark carpets? Does anyone know if there is another model that would?
Unfortunately the 960 still has trouble with black areas on carpet. I ended up changing rugs so that I wouldn't have a problem anymore. I don't think this is something that has been fixed in any robot vacuums.
There are two ways you can blind the cliff sensors. One doesn't require any physical changes, just taping some laminated white paper to the sensor areas. The other involves permanently blinding the sensors by modifying the sensors themselves, so would only suggest this on an old model that is no longer under warranty. I've tried both options on an old 560 that I now use in my basement where I have 3 black rugs. I wouldn't recommend either modification if you have your Roomba run near stairs, though.
