Great movie following Endgame.

When it comes to dealing with the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, I think Spider-Man was the best choice to get an idea of how the world goes on after Tony Stark's heroic sacrifice. Far From Home does a great job with Peter trying to move on with his life after his mentor died balancing his superhero career and stepping up, while also falling in love.
Tom Holland continues to impress as Peter Parker, while Jake Gyllenhaal is equally impressing as Mysterio.
My complaint is mostly the steelbook itself. Like the first one, the cover is kind of meh.
Overall, if you enjoyed Homecoming, and want to get an idea of where Marvel could be headed after Endgame, Spider-Man Far From Home pays off.

This is something I rarely do when it comes to books being adapted into movies: watch the movie before reading the book (I read the book afterward). Regardless, The Hate U Give is the kind of movie that the younger audience need to see based on not only police shootings in America but being young and black in America. Amandla Stenberg has come a long way from playing Rue in The Hunger Games. Her performance was phenomenal to watch.
A minor issue with the movie is that the language and some other content was toned down compared to the book (obviously to keep a PG-13 rating), but it doesn't hinder the overall impact this movie provides.
Overall, this was a great movie, and I would even recommend reading the book as well.

I don't think I have to describe how incredible this movie is as I'm sure the million upon million of people have seen Endgame. If you are a Marvel fan and have been watching this incredible journey since Iron Man, Endgame is the movie you need to have in your collection.
The bonus features are amazing. Besides the commentary while watching the movie, they include:
-A tribute for the late Stan Lee
-Robert Downey Jr. take on playing Iron Man throughout his career
-Captain America's journey throughout the MCU
-Black Widow's journey
-The Russo Brothers on directing this film
-The infamous scene with the women of Marvel fighting together and how it came to be
-How Bro Thor was created
-Some deleted scenes and bloopers
If you are a steelbook collector, this is one you need to add to your collection as it's my favorite steelbook out of the Marvel movies.

Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are a blast from start to finish in both of these films. 21 and 22 Jump Street is basically a raunchier reboot of the classic Tv series. For fans of the original, that might not be your cup of tea, but even without watching the original show, I still enjoyed this film.
Both films also come with behind the scenes including gag reel, deleted scenes, and many more.
Overall, this is the right time to buy these films at a very cheap cost.

Denzel Washington is back in a rare sequel because he's never done one in his career, and for him to do one for this character, it says a lot. For fans of the first film, you're getting the same kind of action that the first movie delivered with just a small tidbit of Robert McCall's background.
One of the best features that comes with this blu-ray is the Retribution mode with Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua as they provide commentary of the film.
My only real complaint about the sequel is that it does take a while to get going. The subplots are what make this movie longer than it needs to be.
Again, if you enjoyed the first film, you'll love the second one. I'm crossing my fingers for a possible third film.

Another Jordan Peele Knockout

Jordan Peele does it once again with his Sophomore movie Us. Like with Get Out, Peele goes for a psychological horror approach rather than straight up horror. Lupita Nyong'o does an amazing job playing two different characters, along with the other cast playing the opposite of themselves.
As for the extra content, the behind the scenes on how Us came to be is very engaging. It's not going to answer all the questions you might have about the movie, but it's still worth the watch. There's also a segment of how Luptia Nyong'o became her character, Red.
Overall, for a steelbook, this is for the hardcore fans of Us, as it really looks nice, both on the inside and out, and worth the extra 10 bucks. For others, the regular 4k or blu-ray is fine.

From the title to the story to the animation, MFKZ is nuts, but it's my kind of nuts. MFKZ is about a kid named Angelino who is being hunted down by a secret organization after discovering that he has hidden powers. There's more to it than that, but let's leave it there because it gets crazy from there.
What makes this movie appealing besides the animation, is the hip-hop culture it incorporates if, very exaggerated. The English dub is not bad having actors like Vince Staples (rapper), Micheal Chiklis (The Shield), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Dascha Polanco (Orange is the New Black), RZA (rapper), and Danny Trejo (Machete) voice the characters.
The fault with this movie lies with the story as it makes no sense. The climax of the film falls completely flat. It's a "Go with the flow" type of movie and don't think too hard.
Overall, this a worth a look if you like anime works from Studio 4°C.

I wish there was enough praise I can give this movie. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is such a joy from beginning to the end. The extra features makes it even more worth it, including an alternative version of the movie with deleted scenes. It can be a bit jarring to watch the alternative version because the deleted scenes were not finished, so it messes with the flow somewhat.
Despite that, if you are a Spider-man fan, you need to see this movie. It embodies what makes Spider-man as a whole such an iconic character. I literally cannot wait to see what else this series has in store in the future.

Ever since the first Creed came out, everyone wanted a Creed vs Drago fight between sons. 33 years after Rocky IV, we finally see it.
I loved every moment in this movie. Michael B. Jordan still shines has Adonis Creed, making a legacy for himself and his family. Florian Munteanu plays Ivan Drago's son, Viktor, whose size alone makes him intimidating. Returning are Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren.
Honestly, I got the steelbook because it looks better than the standard blu-ray case. But if you're a fan of the Rocky series, or just enjoyed the first Creed, give this movie a go as well.

I loved the original Ocean movies (George Clooney), and when I heard that a new movie was coming out with an all female cast, I was on board.
Besides the heist, part of what makes this movie enjoyable is the cast. The Ocean movies, even the original movie have always been great with combining Hollywood's A-listers, B-listers, and upcoming stars, and Ocean's 8 is no exception.
Personally, one of the issues I have with the movie one of the plot twist. It's fairly obvious if you paid attention, and when revealed it almost comes off as a deus ex machina.
Overall, Ocean's 8 is enjoyable, and I would not mind seeing a sequel.
