Dyer kept going in to Eco Dry mode, locking controls. Really makes for annoying use of dryer. Seemed to take longer to dry than my previous Whirlpool dryer. Returned unit back to Best Buy. Bought new Whirlpool washer and dryer set.

Can this dryer be used with a 3 prong 240 outlet
Yes it can. The dryer comes with the new 3 prong 30amp cord with one prong being the new L shaped style. You’ll need to check your 240 plug to see if it’s a 3 prong straight or updated to the new 3 prong L plug. If it is the latter style plug, you can purchase an adapter cord through Amazon to rectify the problem.
