Great Steelbook - 4K Vastly Superior to 1080p

Hacksaw Ridge in 4K. The Blu-ray transfer was really bad, heavy banding in some scenes. Thankfully the 4K transfer all but eliminates all the issues present in the 1080p transfer. I picked up the Steelbook version at a reasonably price, I was glad to find it in store. Andrew Garfield is great in this movie and I highly recommend it to everyone interested in war movies.

Oscar Worthy Performance by Leo - Great Movie

Hands down one of the Leonardo DiCaprio’s movies - truly Oscar worthy. I picked up the Steelbook 4K version, I held off picking this one up on Blu-ray. I’m glad I waited and glad that the Steelbook was reasonably priced. The artwork isn’t the greatest, I actually prefer the Blu-ray Steelbook artwork but the movie itself and 4K transfer are great. Picked it up in store on release date.

I’m reviewing the 4K copy. I can’t give it 5 stars due to a lackluster transfer and lack of Atmos audio. Nonetheless the movie is great and should be in everyone’s collection. BestBuy didn’t have it in stock at my local store but I got it shipped and received within 2 days.

Great value for 10 key

Wife needed a 10 key as her work-issued laptop did not come with the keys. She does a lot of numerical data entry and she was getting tired of using a full keyboard. There were a lot of options to go with but this Best Buy essentials unit had good reviews. I didn’t want to risk buying some junk from a third party seller off of Amazon. Wireless wasn’t a must either. Once received it was plug and play. A much smaller footprint as opposed to a full size keyboard.

From Windows to Mac - And I Love It

Hello from a former Windows laptop user! My Dell laptop was getting a bit dated and lugging it around (15.6” behemoth) was getting old. I was looking for a new, slim Windows laptop running an i7 and a bright screen. Everything I looked at was in the 1000+ range with compromises if I wanted to stay right around 1K.
After watching a number of reviews on Macs (and more importantly this M1 Air) I was sold. Luckily Best Buy was running a promo on open box items and I was able to get this in like new certified condition for $780. It came as advertised and setup was quick and easy since I already had an Apple ID as an iPhone user.
The transition from Windows to Mac was relatively easy. Using Linux in the past proved to be beneficial. For those who have only ever used Windows XP to Windows 10, it might take a bit to adjust.
Bottom line, I love everything about this laptop. It’s thin, fast, has an incredible screen and battery life is amazing.
