Coupled with a huge discount i got on my TCL 10L through Amazon, this has been a great phone experience. you have to jump through some hoops to enable the phone in the settings, but once that pain point is passed, it's really a solid experience. Had a chance to use the tethering just the other day, something AT&T wants to charge for.

I needed to get my son reliable communication, so i added him to my mint mobile family and purchased this phone. I don't especially like the ux, no dock at the bottom (home, recent apps , back) all of that is handled via gestures, but he likes it. zippy, running android 11. decent screen and does what is needed. It's similar to my TCL 10L which i like a little better, but overall, I recommend it. I'd never get value out of a $1200 phone. With this? yep.

Works fantastic with the alexa app, and say works natively with google home, but it has a limitation for google home. Only 6 bulbs can be connected, unless you use the smart plug as a bridge.
Often says "cannot communicate with C by GE" when you ask it to turn on the light(s) works much better with a routine.
light is soft white only, no colors or color temperature. but overall, glad i made the purchase. Highly recommend you get the smart plug to pair with it.
