Excellent piece of glass

This is a very sharp lens, even wide open - although, there is vignetting along the corners, and uncontrolled purple fringing with extremely high contrast scenarios (like using the sun as backlight). To fix these problems, though, you can stop it down to around f/4.0 or higher depending on the severity.
In terms of performance, the autofocus is very snappy. It locks onto the eye with ease and a surprising level of accuracy — in some instances, better than the GM 85mm that I rented (it’s also sharper, too). It’s also silent when focusing.
Because of the focal length, the background blur makes for a wonderful picture. I use the lens touring outdoor portrait shoots of animals and people. Its focus/hit ratio is about 19/20 for me personally.
Build quality is decent. It’s much lighter than I had expected it to be. It also even distributes the weight when attached to my A7rIV.
A great “budget” lens that doesn’t sacrifice quality for a low cost.

A decent player, albeit with several drawbacks

I bought this product because Google had listed it as “region unlocked.” Not important unless you plan on watching physical media from the UK - which I did.
Despite that, this is a great budget 4K player, but just a decent player overall. The operating system is a bit sluggish and bare. Because there is no WiFi compatibility, any update will also have to be done while either connect to an Ethernet cable or via USB thumb drive.
The picture it displayed was decent. It’s not as sharp as I would have liked it to be, but for what it’s worth it did display 4K content.

Best kitchen gadget

I was hesitant to invest in an air-fryer oven. It seemed too novel for it to play as significant roll in my kitchen as others say it did for them. But, I was wrong.
I use it quite frequently. It’s great for roasting vegetables, making homemade chips, and frying frozen foods, like pizza bites and hash brown patties.
The build is pretty solid, and it is easy enough to clean — the door can be pulled off to get any hard to reach residue. The racks are also nonstick, so they wipe clean with a damp cloth (and, you can just toss them in the dishwasher).
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase, especially because I made it during Black Friday. Knowing how good of a product it is, though, I would have gladly bought it at full price.

Take movie nights to the next level with this 5.1.2 VIZIO home theater sound system. It has Dolby Atmos technology built-in, so sound seems to come from all around you, and a six-inch powerful subwoofer creates thumping bass you can feel. This VIZIO home theater sound system has a main sound bar that produces rich, clear audio.

Great bass + horrible treble = unheard dialogue
on January 29, 2021

These are a great value; however, I could not understand any of the dialogue. Even after fiddling with the sound settings multiple times, the best I could get was a thin, tin-y, metallic sound that was impossible to hear over bass. When I unplugged the bass and rear speakers, the sounds wouldn’t register with the television correctly and it created a horrible echo. I have it three stars because for the sound effects on Star Trek, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Godzilla, etc. it sounded amazing. But, as movies are about more than lasers and the sound of war, following exposition dialogues were impossible. I had really wanted to like this, but for me it just doesn’t work.

This is a movie with a heavy usage of practical effects, and a minimal usage of CGI. Overall, this has caused it to agw exceedingly well. Colors are more vibrant, and small details seem more noticeable. Additionally, the audio is much improved over other editions. All things considered, it is well worth the money; a happy edition to anyone's home entertainment collection.

This movie has a clean image -- perhaps not the cleanest I've ever seen, but it is still really good. All the colors seem accurate, and the fine details in clothing and hair really stand out. Where this copy stands out most is the audio. Everything in it feels alive; from the soundtrack to the silence, it is full of depth, but not static. A great edition of an already great movie.

Storytelling aside, the image delivered in this UHD movie is absolutely stunning. Everything is crisp, full of detail. Colors seems realistic, true to life, and perfectly balanced. As one of the few modern movies shot on film, you can definitely see the superiority the medium brings. It is a great buy.

This UHD movie comes with a great, but imperfect, picture. At times the color scheme can seem off, especially in skintones. Additionally, it tends to be a tad bit over saturated; overall, it is a good picture and a decent addition to one's movie collection.

This review is based solely on picture and audio quality. As far as picture goes, it is a crisp image that has lifelike colors. Overall, the colors are very consistant, and the film seems seamless from beginning to end.
As for audio, it is an amazing track. They utilize surround sound perfectly, and everything is presented with clarity and superb separation.
In conclusion, this is a great buy -- a must have for Marvel enthusists. It is the best version of the biggest blockbuster of all time.

Highly Disappointed!!!
By Carter
I purchased this TV under my wife's account but putting this review under my.
Let me start by saying I was very excited for this TV to be released. I've been wanting to purchase this set since 2019 but decided to wait since I seen the "2021" version would support my future gaming needs. However as mainly purchased this TV for movie watching. I have ovwr 200 4K blu-ray's and counting. Before this set I had a 2015 Samsung 4K 3D tv. This TV was amazing however the brightness started to fade so it was time to upgrade to a newer set. I more of s brightness person rather than perfect black levels so OLED was out of the for now. Not getting another Samsung TV for awhile since they're trying to push 8K on everyone by putting all there best tech in the 8K models when theres barley any true 4K content out at this time and them not wanting to support all HDR formats. So I seen this and its up to 2800 nits of peak brightness. I did some research and watch Linus Tech Tips YouTube pre-production model video review and had some doubts. But I seen they were suppose to release this on Aug 2nd but delayed it so figured they were trying to fix issues that were prevalent at the time of that review but boy was I wrong.
This TV looks Atrocious at times. I've uploaded a few pics for reference l. Take a look at the pic from the movie Alita. This is a movie that looks great during daylight and bright scenes but when it gets to dark scenes it just crushes the picture completely. With brightness set to 40 during daylight scenes this TV is supper bright and the HDR pops but when the night scene happens you cannot see anything. The TV defaults the brightness to 50 but when you raise it up to that the picture is completely washed out and unwatchable. Linus said that this TV would blow competitors such as TCL and Hisenese out of the water, let me be the first and tell you that was a lie. I recently picked up a 50inch 2020 Hisenese H8 and this TV is great. Shockingly enough it has outPerformed the Vizio. When setting the backlight from 49-50 for some reason it seems as its going from 49-70. All detail is lost and picture is washed.
I have 2 4K blu-ray players. A Panasonic ub820 and a Samsung M-9500. The Samsung player is practically unusable. This TV appears to have an issue with HDR 10 and 10+ content. There's alot of judder, ghosting, and grain. You name it and it does it. My Panasonic does fine with Dolby vision but also has issues with HDR. Also, on some movies have these white lines at the edge of the black bars. Example is the piggy scene from toy story. Let's get to just regular blu-ray movies. This Tv is abs when it comes to blu-ray's. I uploaded a pic of The Hobit. Look at all of the juddee grain and ghosting in this pic. This not just this scene or certain scenes its thought out the whole movie. I have yet to watch a decent looking blu-ray. At times this TV shines and looks like a powerhouse, but more often than not it doesn't. Movies like Jurassic World, Avengers End Game look breathtaking. Now was i expecting OLED level blacks and detail? No, but i was at least expecting this to beat out my $389 Hisenese and my 2015 Samsung TV. Almost like mention from linus the built in apps seem to lose quality no matter using ethernet or wifi. You can tell when the picture degrades.
Gaming. This Tv looks horrible with games when auto low latency and game mode is turned on. I play alot of COD but the input lag does not seem to be that great. The Hisenese also is outperforming this TV in that as well. Even my 7 year old son could tell the difference which is bad.
In all this TV has alot of potential. Like I said with some movies this TV is a game changer but its processor can't handle all content. Maybe i got a defective pre-production unit or maybe they are not finished with the updates but I can't hold onto this TV any longer. I've had it for 3 days and will be returning on Sat. Think I will be converting over to an OLED but but will take a At the 75inch Sony X900H before I decided purchas the Sony A8H or LG CX10.

A few points to make
September 24, 2020
While I can see your concern with the product, there are a few things I noticed in your photos. Firstly, the content that you are playing is being streamed over the internet. While the quality is still technically 4K, what you're seeing is still highly compressed to keep data consumption relatively low. The blocks that you see are called "compression artifacts." Essentially, the its where the compression algorithm saw the least amount of detail in the pixels and decided to combine them (or bin them) into a single, larger pixel, erasing unnecessary details. Secondly, the "crushed details" you mention in your darker Alita photo is most likely due to a poorly calibrated television. So, with these two things, and because the tv is so much brighter than other ones on the market, you're just seeing compression artifacts more. Typically, I'd recommend having someone come to calibrate the television set professionally, in addition to watching content from physical media (i.e. Blu-ray disks, 4K UHD Blu-ray disks). I think this is more of a user's error rather than a manufacturer's.
