Canon L lenses are more expensive than 3rd party lenses, but can be worth it. The way it works with a Canon back of similar quality is very nice. You just need to decide if the Canon integration is with the premium, but for my use it was.

Battery life for days

I usually work 24 hour shifts as a firefighter, but regularly work up to 48 straight to cover open shifts. With the screen set to theater mode (turning off constant on,) I can get up to 60 hours use pretty easy. It’s been pretty rugged, but I think the buttons activate accidentally by bending your wrist a bit much for what is supposed to be a very active model.

OLED screens are just a different level of performance in light controlled rooms, but the LG Evo panels are bringing that performance to brighter rooms. The 2023 G3 steps it up even more, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price premium over the C3. The integration with a matching LG Dolby Atmos soundbar has also been great. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

I bought a pair of these for my in-laws to use out on their porch/pool area. One was probably enough for their usage, but they were able to quickly learn how to pair them for stereo sound and even more volume. They get used almost daily for chilling in the pool and then are moved to the porch for evening relaxing. I wish they were a little less expensive or offered a discount for a pair, but still am happy with what we got.

This TV provides a great picture, connectivity, and decent sound. The screen is a bit glossy, so you may need to watch glare slightly, but there is nothing else comparable anywhere close in price. I used it to replace an older 43" LED TV for my parents, and the jump in size and picture quality/color have amazed them, especially as it cost less than the TV it is replacing.
