Decent Remaster

Amazing film series, decent print but not much different from the DVD version. Not the remastery level of Apocalypse Now but the audio, especially with the gunshots and explosions has much more kick than the DVD. Bright highlights get crushed in the wedding scene, I’d like to to see a Dolby Atmos and 4K full remaster with better highlight roll off and noise reduction in the dark interior scenes.

Kept Shutting Down While Gaming

I picked this up for X-Plane 11 and also in anticipation for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator coming out later this year. It worked great for about two weeks and then started completely shutting down while in the middle of the game. This got more and more frequent until I couldn't play for more than one or two minutes before a complete and sudden computer shutdown. I also ran into the same issues running Cinema 4D and DaVinci Resolve. There was no easy way to troubleshoot and diagnose the issue. Re-installing the game didn't help and after a few weeks of troubleshooting I finally had to return it.
When it worked properly, the graphics and frame-rates were awesome. In a properly functioning state, everything worked really well. The MS Operating System is clunky and annoying. I never got the bluetooth to work with headphones/keyboard. The HDMI audio outputs didn't work very well with a Dolby Atmos system and the headphone jack didn't work properly so I had to resort to using an Audioquest Dragonfly DAC for stereo audio. The build itself from CLX was good, the fan was really loud. The issue was probably no fault of CLX but a more broad problem among Microsoft integration. I never figured out what the problem was, faulty RAM, power supply, graphics card, motherboard, or processor; but coming from Mac, I was hopeful that after 18 years of not using a PC that they would have their act together.
I'm still running a 2011 MacBook Pro and while the processor and graphics are out-dated, I can't think of a time it ever just shutdown on me. CLX definitely has some great computer configurations out there, if only everything would run properly and consistently for demanding tools like Visual FX animation, 4K HDR editing, and video games.
Troubleshooting, replacing parts, and hassling over computer issues is frustrating, especially when you're used to a Mac that just works all the time; I think I'll wait another 18 years before I get a PC again.

Take better photographs with this 42.4-megapixel Sony digital camera. Its full-frame image sensor has a back-illuminated on-chip lens design to increase light sensitivity and maximize its dynamic range, and 10 fps of continuous shooting lets you capture important moments. The advanced AF algorithms of this Sony digital camera accurately autofocus even in low light.
I can't figure out the difference between Alpha a7 III and Alpha a7R III. I would greatly appreciate any input anyone might have. Thanks!
The A7III has a 24mp sensor with 693 autofocus points.
The A7RIII has a 42 mp sensor with 425 autofocus points.
The A7III may perform slightly better in low light at higher ISOs than the A7RIII.
The A7RIII has pixel-shift multi-shoot mode for added sharpness and detail when shooting still objects, etc.
If you need the ultimate in resolution and plan to create very large photos, the A7RIII has the pixels to do so.
If you aren't interested in the ultra-high image size but want a very versatile camera, the A7III is amazing.
